They could be the old style STI Mags made for Para Ordnance frame. they used to have a different hole pattern on the mag body.

Don't know if this Danish brand is available in Holland, but i've think they are one of the most lightweight you will find
Not cheap though.

Living in Finland makes my options limited, but currently my options for a 5" 9 major open gun slide seem to be Atlas vs Brazos. Atlas is out of stock at SSI and Brazos is in stock.
What's the opinion here, should I just order the Brazos slide or wait for the Atlas to come back to stock? One local smith said he didn't really like working with Brazos parts and that's the only thing I've really heard about them. I have a Brazos 5" barrel coming as well, since it was basically the only one-piece compensator available.STP in Germany offers a one-piece barrel Comp, i've waiting for mine too arrive soon

If they are 1 generation STI mags, there are deep indents /ribs om both sides of the 9mm magazines, 40 have one shallow side/one deep side.

Grendel, is the tube you have also measured at 129mm?
Hi masonuspsa1, yes mine is an old style SVI 9/38 tube measuring 129mm and 140mm with Grams base pad.

Not sure if this falls in line with the original question, I'll just ask. Do I understand this correctly. Exp, I have a tasco optima 2000 that is mounted to a 1911 via the rear sight dovetail. The base of the 2000 slides into the dovetail cut on the slide & the top of the 2000 screws to the bottom plate via 2 screws.
Now, my 2000's dot will not adjust / I can't get the dot to sight in.
Being the 2000 is not sold anymore, I can buy a J-Point and it will attach the same & be a replacement for the 2000? Any other brands?
Shield RMS share the same fodprint, and Vortex Viper i think.

Wich production gun do you have now, if its a tanfoglio it could make sense to buy the Dominans in ordre for ease of same magazines/pouch/spareparts etc.

My present 550 problem is sideways small pistol primers. I can see between the frame and primer feed that they are coming out of the primer feed sideways in the cup, not flipping against the shell plate. I have caught a number by watching through that gap but sure as the world, I take my attention off of it and I will get one on edge. Primers are too precious to waste, not to mention the delay and aggravation.
.45 case on the follower rod to add a little hold down - no help.
Fresh yellow plastic feed tip - no help.
Varying tightness of the magazine cap holding down the tube - no help.
I thought to adjust the cup position set screw #13961 as shown above. I could not budge it.
I am getting more now I am loading CCI primers but it wasn't zero with Winchester or Federal.
There could be some residue/gunk inside the primer tube, try push a q tip though the tube.

The bevel aids in inserting the moons. I don't think it can contribute to fouling.
I have seen some pretty radical bevels around here!
Probably considered a must for competition guns.
My 929 seems to "tie up" mainly from too fast powder. Light bullets at lower velocities don't do it. (My SCSA load is a 96 or 105 gr @ 900- 1000 fps)
Sorry, i meant the exit of the chamber - yes, i do know for moons there is need for a bevel
-
Is it normal procedure to have a bevel on the charge hole off the cylinder? Or could it contribute to the fouling?

The arrows have different orientation for magnum/riffel, pistol/revolver primers and yours are for magtech #1½

I've had the same problem loading 9mm rounds on my 550 - my issue where sizing die touching the shellplate and lifting it up, adjusting the die crooket bullets went away.

Could you put a rubber washer or something similier between the ramp where it's attached too the press?

So i have a used Limcat SteelCat that im having issues with. Accuracy is pretty terrible. When i received the gun i slapped an RTS2 on and a Tevo sports thumb rest. From there i decided to zero it and what i was getting was 3-4” groups at best at 18 yards
I can't help thinking it could be the RTS2 that you replaced is the culprint here? Maybe reverse to the original dot and test for accuracy issues?

Allright ty, i havent zeroed it yet, ill make sure to check that.
Seems just weird to me that it dissapears in the top half, thought maybe someone with a venon could confirm if its normal or not?
It's not normal, on my Vortex Venom, i can see the dot on all glass surface.

Thank you for the pictures. I'm guessing the back of my mag is out of spec based on your picture I guess it could be the spacer is cute too wide, but based on the she if the mags, I don't think so.
If you put on an aftermarked base pad instead of the STI base pad with the floorpad lock, your spacer will sit lower due to the missing floorpad lock

I don't know what an STI Host looks like but the vortex viper and venom don't share the same footprint?
Need some help figuring out these mags.
