I've shot approximately 9000 Summit City 9mm 124gr no lube groove bullets. They shoot fine, with just a little smoke. If you watch for sales, you can get free shipping and 14% off with a double box of 3500.
What’s the smoke look like compared to blues?

Anybody ever use Summit city bullets? How is their coating ?
I was using slippery bullets and getting a lot of smoke coating wasn’t great

A guy had some MBX mags at the last match. He let me try them out in my JP. They ran perfect but I did not like how they rattled around. I think I'm sticking with my Glock mags.
I hear this from others as well I have a steel mag and the only thing I don’t like is the rip king back and forth has anyone found a fix ? Maybe a magwell that corrects the problem?

I'm not an ENT or audiologist, but I've had ongoing issues with my ears and have seen several medical professionals about it. The consensus is simple, if you care about the health of your ears and plan to do shooting long term, you NEED to double up on hearing protection. It sucks, it's uncomfortable, it's inconvenient- but tinnitus and progressive hearing loss are much more so. Dont screw around with your hearing. Double up.
For in the ears the best you can get is custom molded hearing protection- done professionally. Not the 10 dollar ones you do at home. Go see an audiologist and have them take molds of your ear, and have them made for you. For muffs get something high quality, I like gel cups because they dont cause as much pain and they seal better around the eye pro.
I'm probably a 3rd of the age of most people on here- so I'm thinking more about long term noise exposure here. Even if you're on the older side this isn't something to take lightly- discomfort for a few hours out of the week is better than discomfort 24/7. Rant over
I hear what your saying
It feels fine when I double up just didn’t know if there was a good pair of muffs that I didn’t have to dbl up with maybe electronic or something

I work construction for a living and threw out the 25+ yrs of noise and shooting sports as I age my hearing is getting more sensitive I cannot shoot my open gun without pain/discomfort/ringing I use custom made molded ear plugs and still have to wear some muffs over them to not feel that way
I’m looking for a good set of muffs so i don’t have to double up ?
any ideas would be great

I have one and love it it’s grippier then evo but same ergonomic feel
I would definitely buy another one over the evo

I think there are too many divisions for Uspsa/SC as is, the divisions are watered down. HOWEVER, I believe that there should be a revo rimfire division, cut out the irons/optic divisions and make it one division. More a run what you brought type match.
no more pcci/pcco just pcc, same with osr/isr.
maybe I’m crazy, what do you think?
Not a fan of this idea at all optics are clearly an advantage so it’s not fair for iron sights to be in the same class at all
-
Yes I shoot the 22 wheelies a separate division would be great

5.2 N320 @1.030”=130 PF
If you want a super soft load, 3.8 grains SP or N320 = 97 PF
I tried a 4.8gr n320 load and had horrible accuracy
-
I’m using a custom open gun for steel Challenge and want to find an accurate fluff load
-
Looking for minor PF load data for 95gr bullets
9mm case
Powders I have are
wst and VV n320
-
3.8gr of wst under a Blues 125gr gives me 125 PF out of a 6” barrel
-
Agreed on the Revo gear set up
he stands behind his products !
10mmdave here on Enos

hp-38 and HS-6 are major powders
it will leave unburned powder in the case and will foul up chamber mags etc.
