Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I would have just took the strong arm mount off of the machine if I was that close. Or put it on a lower bench. Ouch.
  2. Thanks for the reply, I will try it and see if that works. I am just frustrated with this caliber. Since the unit works so well with the other calibers. I really like Dillon products and will continue to use them, but I wish when they tell you someone will call back they would.
  3. I have two 550's I have an electric case feeder for both of them. I load 357 sig and 9mm on one press, and 45 and 10mm on the other. The problem is loading 45acp. I have read about this on other forums, and have even called good ole Dillon about it. The problem is the casing when coming out of the sizer die slips a little in the shell plate as it hits the primer cup. This causes it to be off center and will not seat the primer all of the time. So, you have to manually push the brass back into the plate. This is a pain in the ..... when you have a rythem going. Like I have said, I called Dillon and they really didn't seem to care! Basically they told me I needed to adjust the cam better. I have loaded thousands of rounds in the other calibers mentioned. The problem is with 45ACP. If I had know of this problem, I would have sold my 550's and gone with the 650's instead. But now I have too much invested. I hope someone here knows how to solve this problem without the be-littlement. It seems to have been mentioned quite a few times with the 45ACP. This is the first time for me that customer service at Dillon really sucked.
