The holsters are currently shipping in under 2 weeks, I am about to ship a couple that were ordered one week ago. This lead time will vary with current demand, but right now you are looking at about one to two weeks.

    Thank you for that info.

  2. I have the Yukon Tactical Weekend Range bag. I’ll first say that I did not buy it. I won it at a match a while back. However it has worked out very well for all my needs. It’s not too big that it’s pain to carry, but it’s plenty big enough to get anything and everything in it that you want/need. The extra 2 front and 2 top pockets are very handy and actually have some useable size.

  3. I’m going to give one of these a try. How long did it take to receive once you placed your order? I have a like new RHT for a Shadow 2 I need to sell and I’m going to place the order. The fit & finish look to be one of the best I’ve seen as far as kydex goes.

  4. As said above, I think filling the gap with something semi permanent would be a cheap/simple solution. Doesn’t really need to be rock hard, just something to fill the void. Anything from Permatex, Sugru, or even having a piece machined to fit directly in that gap with a little adhesive. Many options over permanently cutting on your slide.

  5. I’ve been checking on the Henning website for a couple weeks and they continue to be sold out of the black. Any other options for buying these online? I need 5 of them so the cheaper the better.

I took a 10lbs spring and cut 3 coils off of it also using the small buffer.  Cycles 109PF just fine and runs well at 130PF.  I keep two 10lbs as spares in the bag.

I need to give this a try and see what happens. I shoot 147gr factory ammo most of the time.

My Dillion gear all arrived today..........almost......missing was the "essentials XL650 press kit".....which was the major part of the order.

I placed the order last week...online.      I then called in to make sure everything looked good.

The person I spoke with reviewed everything and said it ll looked good and would ship that day.

Tracking info was emailed to me later in the day.  All appeared to be good.

I checked in with them to find out what was going on and was told the  D-Terminator digital scale is part of the press kit.....and it's on backorder, thusly, the entire kit is on backorder.

At no time did anyone mention this....during the phone call or the initial "chat" feature online.  The press kit didn't show as "on backorder" when I ordered it.

Sorta aggravating when I have travel plans and don't won't my press kit sitting by the front door.  They couldn't tell me when it would ship....only that the D-Terminator scale was "past due" and maybe it'll ship this week......or maybe next week.

I've been very polite and courteous throughout this, yet the person I spoke to on the phone was short, clipped and rude.  At no time was there any attempt to provide additional detail or even so much as an apology.

I've heard of the legendary customer service that Dillon offers......but I've got to say that my experience thus far hasn't been so hot.

Hopefully this will be my only snag with the experience.

I mention this to save you and other buyers the headache of not being made aware of unknown potential delays.  I wish I'd known and could have had my stuff shipped to another address.

I appreciate the info. Hate to hear that you have had a bad experience with them. Hopefully they get it all straightened out.

  8. I’m ready to order a new Dillon XL650. I’ve built it on the Dillon webpage multiple times. I’m getting pretty much everything including the casefeeder. The prices comes out to about ~$1250-$1300. I have a couple of questions. Is there anything that you’d recommend getting that isn’t listed in the step by step build process on the site? Upgraded parts from other manufacturers? Extra parts? Also, does everyone order directly thru the Dillon webpage? I’ve seen them listed other places, but it doesn’t give a good description of what is included. I’m ready to put the order in so if there is anything else I need or need to know, please post it up. I want to order it all at once and have it all done at once. I don’t like endless tinkering to make things right.

  9. I use some liquid grip stuff that I bought at Academy. Works very well. Just use a few small drops before each stage. Seems like people use way too much of this stuff at one time. I didn’t have any white residue problems.

Rowdy is the F guide rod the same as the 09?

The 09 is slightly longer. You have to trim just a bit off of it. Or call Cajun and they will make you one.....they just do the cutting instead of you.

  11. I decided I wanted to compete with a pistol about a month ago. I did a little research and thought Carry Optics would be a good choice to start. I bought a CZ P10F, a Delta Point Pro, belt rig, extra mags, etc.... I’m coming from a background of 8yrs of PRS competition. About two weeks ago everything I ordered has shown up and I’ve got it all put together, mounted, zeroed, fitted, etc.... I manage to put about 700 rounds thru the pistol and 200 rounds of that was with the Delta Point Pro. So skip to today. I travel a couple hours to shoot (my first) a local USPSA match. There are about 70-75 shooters that show up. Beautiful sunny day. All super nice guys. I get in the box on the first stage. Buzzer goes off. I’m ripping thru it doing good. I get to the next to the last firing position. I’m looking at the target and there is no dot. I shake the gun. Bump it a few times. Still no dot. My two week old/less than 300 rounds Delta Point Pro has s#!t the bed. I finish the stage just point shooting the targets. I managed to get Alpha/Charlie on all 3 with no dot to aim with. I clear out of the stage area. I turn it on. It comes on and stays on for 10 seconds then goes off. Over and over. I change the battery. It seems like it’s going to stay on now. I get half way thru the second stage. It dies again. Same s#!t. Will come on for 5-10 seconds, then shuts off. I shot the second half of that stage horribly with no dot. I ended up shooting g the next 4 stages with my concealed carry pistol. Didn’t do as well as I’d like. Next to the last stage is the classifier. Just as I get up to shoot, it starts to pour rain and the wind is blowing 40mph. They call off the match at this point. It begins to hail along with the down pour of rain.

So.....overall it was a lot of fun. I’m very disappointed in the Delta Point. I’m disappointed in my performance. But I definitely enjoyed it. I’ll be back next time.

I guess I will send the Delta Point in for warranty repair. I’ll certainly be considering other optic choices if I can get a different mounting plate from CZ for the P10F.

  12. For me personally, I don’t feel like some of these would offer enough noise reduction. After 9 years of PRS rifle matches, I double up on hearing protection. I wear the MSA Sordin X-treme Pro muffs with yellow foamy plugs under them. I turn the MSA’s up to full volume and it lets me hear just fine with the plugs in. If they made a set of MSA Sordin Pro just like the ones I currently have, but with Bluetooth capabilities, I’d buy them no doubt.

  13. I just wanted to add to this for anyone that comes across it later looking for info. I polished (heavily polished) the contact points on my P10F and took the sharp edges off the slide stop itself. I’ve got ~500 rounds thru mine and a lot of dry fire. With the polishing and sharp edge removal, I can now drop the slide on a full mag with zero issues just as I would on any other pistol. It is slightly stiffer on a empty mag or no mag at all, but nothing at all like it used to be previously.

  14. I just installed the 15lb spring in my P10F. I’m just using factory 147gr Freedom Munitions. I’ll see how it behaves tomorrow. I also have some 124gr stuff on the way.
