I have a G35 that is converted to 9mm with a KKM .40 to 9mm barrel.
The gun seems to function fine in the short time I've tested it, but I've noticed that the slide will not fully seat forward if I hold the gun vertically muzzle up. Obviously the weight of the slide + gravity is a factor here, but is this a safety concern I should be worried about? The gun sits out of battery about 1/8" and only occurs if I gently ride the slide vertically. It seats itself into battery if I rotate the gun, slowly, into a horizontal position.
If it is an issue, should I swap in a heavier recoil spring, or file my barrel hood?
