First 5 rounds with full shell plate are 1.127"-1.132". Is another die stopping the arm short? It still feels like its "breaking" over (hard to explain but like a cam on a bow) I ran them back through the size and crimp dies and they were 1.125-1.126". I'll see if backing off my size die or PTX will help any.

Ive been fiddling with it and I'm now getting 1.124"-1.1265" one at a time for the last 10 rounds.

I don't have a chronograph. Accuracy seems to be ok, but I'm just working this load up.

How much variance in OAL is acceptable/expected? I'm loading .40 s&w looking for OAL of 1.125" and am getting from 1.117"-1.131". It seems like too wide of a spread to me. How can I shrink it down?
FWIW:
I am using my new LNL AP press with Dillon dies.I'm using Winchester brass, 180gr Berry's Plated FP, 3gr Clay's, & CCI SPP. I'm using the larger end of the seating die and have made sure my LNL bushing isn't waling out by marking it and the press.

Loading 1 at a time yielded 1.124-1.127".
I backed the PTX off so far that it isn't expanding enough to start the bullet by hand and I'm still getting 1.128-1.132" with a full plate. Loaded up 50 rounds tonight will test backing out the size die tomorrow.
