My m2 shoots slugs way high with a barrel clamp even though you can see the clamp pull the barrel down. I took it off and have been practicing with the clamp off and it shoots slugs like a lazer now. I am wondering if something bad is going to happen without a clamp. I searched on here some and the only thing I could find was I might break the extension tube off. I am running a Nordic and it seems pretty stout.

Well , I used mine in its first 3gun match today. Let's just say it's performance was less than stellar. I ended up calling it a day half way through the shoot . Too many failures to extract. The slide would come all the way back and then forward to try and strip anotherround from the mag only to be stopped by the empty case still in the chamber causing a jam. When time counts , that blows your day. Because I will be asked I was running 125gr RN
I have a 51679 and mine wouldn't run with the stock extractor. I bought a Wilson combat and it runs like I stole it now. Been using it for over a year in 3 gun love it.

Anyone tried to make the sight block work on a 17. My thought was to buy a 17l barrel cut it down and thread it for the sight block. Figured someone else had to of tried this.

Not to thread drift. But I can't find dk triggers website.

I like the 10/22 sight milled in the rib. I would have to come up with something for a taller front sight though.
-
I think I got it! I had the c shim in there and could still see to much rib. So I took my b shim and drilled through where the pegs were, then sanded it until it had move of a angle then the c shim. Then I put them both in together. Now when I look down the barrel I don't see rib just a dot sitting on the flat. I shot some slugs tonight and was hitting a 6" circle at fifty yards. Impact is about 3" above where I am aiming but dead center. So I think I maybe able to skip the rear sight.

Hope these come out in a month.

I have a M2 and it shoots slugs way high for me. I was wanting to put a rear sight on it. What is everyone using? Do I need a new front too?

I have switched to blue bullets. I love 'em, uniform, no smoke, and easy to clean up. They are fast to ship them and give you 5% off for being a member here which is pretty cool.

Will they have a small, med, and large competition grip or just one size?

Just wondering if these are any good? I just ordered a new strike eagle and looking for mount for it.

Steve RA about how much brass can you hold in your setup. I have seen some of those bases on eBay?

Not to change the subject but..... Where are you guys finding these glocks I looked all over and couldn't find any police trade in specials.

My rifle shoots 55 gr and 62/75gr almost two inches different at fifty yards. 55gr bullets shoot about one moa well the 62/75gr are groups are touching, with my reloads. My barrel is a 16" with a 1/8 twist. My question is this normal never had another rifle do this. I don't like that I can't run cheap America eagle 55gr without worrying about missing on stages over 100 yards. Is it time to just get a new barrel?

Just talked with Century Arms...SFX in my hands sometime in April!
Looking forward to a video! Love the videos you put out.

No it was the full size. It's just my gorilla hands. The most comfortable gun I have to shoot is my P18 with a big mag well. and everyone thinks that is a tank.
-
Thanks for the info. It looks like they only get bigger in girth not height which is where I was hoping for.
-
I am a pretty big guy 6'4" and meaty hands. I have held a couple of these at Lgs and they feel really small. They were telling me that it comes with a medium grip frame. My question is is the large noticeably bigger?
-
I was wondering what setup up everyone is running. I have some P18 mags with Dawson pads springs and Arredondo followers. I can only get twenty in any of the mags. Wondering if there is a different set up that lets you squeeze a couple extra rounds in.

I think it helps with feeding. My won't feed hollow points or some flat nose bullets at all. I only use it for shooting matches so it doesn't bother me.

Thanks guys I didn't know about that. That works perfect I just want to practice and play.

That's disappointing idpa is the only thing to shoot up here in the winter.
-
I was hoping esp if I could. I know the dust rail is a no go. But was hoping I could cut it down and be ok.
-
I have a stock rock with a full under rail. I use it for 3 gun and want to use it for idpa in the winter time. What are my options? If I cut the rail down would that be legal? It's all stock shouldn't I be able to shoot it.
Barrel clamp necessary?

Thanks guys that's what I was figuring. I don't throw it at the drop barrels from ten yards away, and I definitely don't use it like a baseball bat lol.
