I asked about changing the slide on the guns but now I'm going in a different direction and wanted to see if I can change the internal part - use the 35 slide on the 34 frame but also take all the internal parts from the 35 and put them in the 34 frame

Are the frames on Glocks 34 and 35 identical (both are Gen 3) ????
I have a 34 with grip reduction that feels very comfortable and I have a 35 without any grip work but It has a very good trigger job and I need to use the 35 this week so I was thinking of swapping out all the internal parts from one frame to the other (trigger group, ejector,...etc) along with the slide and I was wondering if that would work

Since I have both guns can I take the ejector out of the 35 frame and use it on the 34 frame, this way I will have a 35 slide on a 34 frame with a 35 ejector

I was hoping for a simple installation thumb rest one that fits on the gun without any drilling but I guess I have to rethink that *thumb rest [generic]* idea....
