I'm new to the suppressor world and seeking some advice........
I'm looking into getting a suppressor that works with both pistol and rifle calibers.
So far I'm looking at the Liberty Mystic X
I'm not sure if there is anything else better out there that covers that many calibers.....
I'm looking to suppress the most common pistol and rifle calibers.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Hope my last posting gave a little more info :-)Asking "what is a good silencer to get" is sort of like asking "what is a good pistol for USPSA?" The question does not include enough detail for people to give you a good answer. When the silencer question comes up, many of the answers sound like "I have X and it works really well". That may or may not answer your question very well. For answers tailored more to your needs, you may want to better define what you want to get out of a new suppressor.
You start out well, stating this is for an 8.5" AR15 SBR chambered in 300BLK. But where do you want to go from there?
* Do you intend to shoot supersonic ammo, subsonic ammo, or both?
* Do you want to use this on other firearms, or will it be dedicated to this one rifle?
* Do you want to shoot other calibers through it?
* Do you want the ability to use it on a semi-auto pistol?
* Does it need to be rated for full-auto?
* Is a heavy / long can that is quieter more important or a short / light can that may be less quiet?
* Is the ability to disassemble and clean the can important? (primarily an issue if you plan to shoot .22 rimfire through it).
* Is gas blow-back going to be an issue with your rifle / can combo, and have you thought about how to mitigate it?
* Do you want it to fit under a specific handguard?
You may not have thought about some of these things, but there a number of people who have already gone through the learning curve and can tell you "X feature is better than Y for issue Z".
That's not a "short barreled Contender".I'm shooting them out of a short barreled Contender...
.223 Rem Super 16 Contender ...
;-)
This does the same thing (36 gr. bullet at just over 1000 fps) with off-the-shelf ammo.
Although I usually run that barrel / can combo on a pistol.

Thank you all for the responses.
As this is my first can, my goal is to be a little versatile, it's going to be used on multiple rifles and multiple calibers (not .22 rimfire). The last week I looked at many suppressors and one caught my eye, the "Rugged Surge 762"
The ability to change the length from 9" to 7.5" and also change the end cap between 5.56 and 7.62 sounded very appealing to me also the mounting and locking system looked pretty good.
It's kind of getting 2 Suppressors in 1
Also going to be using the Gemtech suppressed bolt carrier for reduced gas blowback
So what do you all think about the "Rugged Surge 762"
Any Positive or Negative comments are welcome :-)

I am building my first SBR (300 AAC) with an 8.5 barrel and of course will be putting a Can on it but there are many options out there and I'm trying to get some advice on which one to go with, most likely it will be the only one I get for a long while because of cost and process, a multi caliber would be nice for versatility ( l've been told to get 30 cal ), I would like to keep the cost around $800 but I am open minded :-)
Any advise is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I was trying to find a red AR trigger online for my red AR theme build but I could not find one, so as an easy and cheap way, I'm thinking of painting the stock trigger, just the part that sticks out of the receiver to match all the red parts I installed.
Any suggestions on what paint I should use, preferably something I can pick up at a local store.
Thanks

Thank you all for the input, it really helped me a lot, I think I will build my own, this way I can get good quality parts over time without hurting my pocket and learn more about the platform in the process.

Going to reload for Limited Major and trying to decide what would be the best bullet weight to use 180gr or 200gr.
Any input is appreciated.

I'm using a SquareDeal B, currently loading 9mm and the cases most of the time are getting hung up or kind of stuck on the way down of the flaring die and its causing a small jerk that sometimes causes the primer to move out of place. I am thinking of using case lube.
Any body knows if this is normal and is there a fix for it.
Thanks

I'm new to reloading, I'm loading pistol cartridge and not sure what is the best case lube to use, I did some online research and it seams that Hornady one shot is the most common but I also red that sometimes cases get stuck in the resizing die when used....
What do you all recommend ????

I say G35, it could be used in many divisions and you can load minor or major plus you can always get a 9mm conversion for it, Making it more versatile than others especially for competition use

300 Blackout subsonic 208GR VS 220GR for suppressed
in General Reloading
Posted
Need some advice on what bullet weight to choose, trying to buy some subsonic 300 Blackout ammo from Atlanta Arms (I guess they have decent prices) but not sure which weight to choose "200GR subsonic FMJ" or "208GR subsonic A-MAX"
It's going to be used out of a 8.5" inch Noveske barrel with either 7" or 9" suppressor, ammo is only for fun and target practice and to see how quiet it could get, both rounds advertise average 1000 FPS.
Thanks in advance
