I carry my mags daily(full time LEO) and have had great result using Sentry Solutions Tuff Glide,granted I'm not throwing them in the dirt but I am a k-9 handler and dog hair and dirt get everywhere but I have never noticed the mags collecting it.I put on a heavy coat and let it dry then "polish" them and all is well and it lubricates also.

OOOPS sorry forgot to put my 200 grn load,WST 4.7 grn, rainier 200 grn swc, 1.255 COL and for LSWC I also use 4.7 grn WST at 1.255 COL .

I have been using 230 grn fmj and VV N340 6.3 grn 1.26 COL not sure on the FPS as my MKIV is on back order.It shoots well out of both my 1911s and hits same point of aim as 230Hydra Shocks. I believe JMB originally designed the 1911 to shoot a 200 grn bullet but the military dictated a heavier bullet which made way for the 230grn ball round

I use Hoppes dry teflon powder lube on mine...works wonders on alot of things..plus no graphite mess! You can find it at Brownells.
