My name is Joe and yes you read it right I'm from Land O Lakes, Florida. About 25 miles north of Tampa and before you ask, No they don't make the butter here. LOL..
I'm new to the hobby and found this forum doing some looking around the net for info on reloading. Unfortunately when I get into something I do it with both feet.
Yesterday I placed an order for a 550b and ALL the goodies need to start reloading from jump street.
I retired from the Army Corps of Engineers last year and have been going nuts with nothing to do. That's how I got into this.
I had been working my shooting in the mountains of Afghanistan and now I feel funny not having a weapon on me.
In the last year I bought an S&W MP 40, a Kel-Tec .380 and a Springfield XDM 9mm 4.5.
With all the ammo I have been sending down range I thought it would be cheaper to reload. That is after you save back the initial outlay.
As you can see from my user name I am also a Ham Radio Operator and I’m also into flying.
