If Dillon or an aftermarket company would come up with a primer system attachment that would be easier than backing out those two long bolts I would be a customer. That is the most time consuming part of changing primer sizes for me. Maybe two studs with QD levers like a picatinny optic mount?
Removing those two bolts takes less than 60 seconds.
I can only see it taking 60 seconds if I stop to drink a beer in the middle.

Two "long" bolts are too time consuming?

Here is what I found with my 147gr. bullets
3.0gr. Bullseye, average velocity 926.5 = 136 PF
That's what I've been using for awhile, and nearly identical results through a Glock 34 with a stock barrel.

Looks great, can't wait.

That was one of my worst finishes, so I kinda wish I would have just ran around like I think they intended on people doing. :-)
I like how you gamed stage 18, I wish I've done thatHere are all of mine.
I'd imagine if they aren't done yet, nobody is on here looking for a secret way to shoot a stage that they haven't already seen in person

Great job
I've never been to that range before and noticed all the fresh looking dirt, so I hope they are easily able to continue this large of a match.

I signed up for it. I like shooting steel and I don't care that it's all paper.

With a caliber change which requires a primer size change...
How much does having an available complete second priming assembly ready-to-go help ?
Worth the money, IMO. I have a complete assembly for each size.
I don't feel the time for a caliber change is any greater than what is required to clean and maintain the press anyway. I have a toolhead for each caliber and I even share the same powder measure for each one.

Anyone have videos...
I have mine uploaded, will get them edited and posted tonight.

I load to get the ammo it produces... I do enjoy it but I don't *really* enjoy it.
Once I get the machine running I basically go through the motions unless something grabs my attention. I watch TV, listen to podcasts, and maybe even sip on a beverage. Once it's to that point it becomes relaxing.

Hopefully this week. They will be there tomorrow for the Tuesday night weekly stuff they do.

I settled on Red Dot and Bullseye with the 147 Blues. Nothing bad to say about either of them. I set for 3.0 grains of Bullseye and loaded 5k of them without having to touch the adjustments.
The only bad thing now is I'm getting low... need to load more.

Oftentimes lubricating the correct part at the correct point is the answer. We will have some cleaning and lubrication videos for the Square Deal B, RL550B and XL650 up on our website and on your Youtube account probably next week. Just about finished with the voiceover, just need to change the format and they'll be ready to go. As for the female CSR, she is fairly new. She is a shooting instructor, loads lots of handgun and rifle. Like all CSRs, regardless of gender, you simply have to do the job a while to become proficient at it. I haven't overheard anyone being grumpy on the phone, but I do monitor for it.
Looking forward to these.

I've since moved onto other powders but that was the only one I had with two equivalent charges for plated vs. coated bullets.

Hello: I think they are fine for practice but I would use jacketed for a match. Think of it this way, shooting them in a match cost less than a fancy coffee. Buy them by the case and they are cheaper, buy with a group and even cheaper. I would say you are shooting an expensive pistol why not feed it jacketed bullets all the time. Thanks, Eric
Jacketed doesn't shoot any better for me.
I put a mag of each on a target at 50 yards and couldn't tell a difference.
-
I get just as good accuracy with coated as I do full metal jacket in my factory Glock barrels.
-
Those look great. Maybe if I win one I'd shoot something other than a Glock.
-
I had fun but was disappointed with the turn out. Hopefully the next time we can get more people to shoot.

AJE, thanks for sharing your experience with the aluminum cases. I'm not sure why dm thinks you are making it up. Fact is you never stated that aluminum brass = instant death for all. Just shared your own experience and your own opinion. For some reason dm feels that if his existence doesn't 100% match yours then you must be lying. I'm not sure I follow that line of reason.
You're welcome.

I just read it.
What is your issue with it?

Score! I printed it before the name change.
Swage It XL650 Pocket Swager on Ebay

I was in the arfcom thread... It was never said the owner was the poster, but it certainly seemed possible (had both products in hand two days after asking for opinions on them).
Anyway, I understand that it will still void the warranty, but the design seems much better to me than the other swage unit.
