Mini poppers @100 yards.

GLOCK all the way to M class.

Really fun match. Wish I could make this one.

Yeah, sometimes your trigger finger has a mind of its own. AKA Trigger Freeze. We shot CM 06-03 (Can you count) at our local club match this past weekend. It amazed me how many shooters have trouble with this.
Counting is easier than keeping your trigger finger from going all derpy.

I hate ending on a note, but next time, I think I'll just have a drink.
-
I hate when you have an Awesome practice, then it All Goes To Crap in the last 5 minutes. You know you should quit...but No...you Suck on for another 30 minutes, until you can't even holster you gun without screwing that up.
-
+1Just be sure to keep at least one hand on the gun at all times

30 to 45 minutes of dry fire 5 or 6 days a week. Live fire 1 to 2 times a week. Try to get in 1 USPSA match per month.
-
I just view re-shoots as a stage with a practice round. Learn from you mistakes and do it better the second time.

Couldn't have said it better myself.ouch! I am kinda glad my wife doesnt shoot....its my "break" from her when I shoot USPSA hahhaha

Shoot a few Bill Drills into the back stop before you begin your normal live fire routine. No target, just right into the berm. Shoot it fast enough that you don't have time to blink. With no target to focus on, the only thing left to look at is your sights.
-
Your supposed to breath during a COF?
-
Step 1-
With your target set at five to seven yards, begin with a two-hand hold and slow-fire your first magazine or cylinder. Take your time and focus on a smooth deliberate trigger press and clear front sight.
Step 2-
Reload your handgun and repeat the first drill only this time fire all rounds using your strong/dominant hand only. Again, take your time and focus on solid marksmanship fundamentals. One of the keys to success when shooting single-handed is to ensure your wrist is locked.
Step 3
Continue your practice session. Reload your handgun and fire the next exercise using your support/off hand only. Again, focus intently on your front sight and be sure your trigger press is smooth and deliberate. Lock your wrist so the gun doesn’t flail about.
Step 4
We now move on to holster drills. With your handgun loaded and holstered, smoothly draw and engage the target. Fire two shots and then slowly and hesitantly re-holster. Never race back to the holster, GO SLOW. Repeat the drill until the gun is empty.
Step 5
Download your magazines to three or four rounds. Begin with a partially loaded handgun. Engage the target until the gun runs dry and reload. Repeat the drill two or three more times. If you are using a revolver this is more difficult but can be accomplished with speed-loaders or quick-strips.”

What he said. [emoji651]Relax you strong hand.
You'll never have sub .2 splits if you're chocking the gun to death with your strong hand.

Breathing is overrated anyway.Breath?!! I have shot some fun matches with 50-60 count stages in Vegas before. I passed out before I got to the end. I can only hold my breath up to 32 round count. What worries me is, I am sure that some of the guys at the range would revive me, but when I came too, I would be stripped of my gun and gear with no one knowing a thing about my stuff missing.

Stacked with powder???

So...Where would that land me in % of HHF?

Yes. The match will be on January 4th. Approximate round count will be 100. New shooter briefing at the range at 09:00am. Due to unforeseen circumstances registration will be at 09:30 at the range (no pre-registration). Match begins at 10:00. Due to additional fees for a classifier match, there will be no awards for category winners.

Outdoor. What I have in mind is, 8 to 10 pistol bays, a 500 to 1000 yard rifle range (whatever we could fit in) and an area for people to shoot skeet. We have 10ish acres we could devote to the cause.
Looking to make the jump and reload 9mm major in a glock
