Don't lean against the wall either.
YepDid you have to hold the noose and shoot 1 handed?
-
Production should be left as "Production". If you want to shoot a Modified pistol, shoot L10.
-
I'm sure they know.

I've always wondered why Dillon ships the 550 with a large primer tube and the small prime bar installed.

I had a horse steak in Alberta. I liked it.I don't know about not eating horse... I tried horse in Canada and if you're a fan of red meat, you'll like horse meat.

There's one range in NC that we shoot that Requires you to pick up your brass also. Never shot a Club match that Won't let you pick up Your own brass.Tried to use mine at a local range and they got a little testie claiming that I was stealing their brass. I said it was my brass that I just shot and they replied, NO, when it hits our ground, it becomes ours. With my usual smart ass attitude I replied, "So, I guess I'd better give you (what used to be my shoes) cause they hit your ground too." The rangemaster (a pimple faced teenager) just chuckled but I haven't been back since....... I wonder whose shoe it would have been if it was stuck up his posterior?
California....Geez. One of the ranges I shoot at requires you to police your brass.

I run mine just long enough to knock of the loose dirt. Don't care if they're shiny or not.

Anyone see Stage Diagrams yet?

Powder seems to be coming back Slowly?? So "Slowly" it appears to be moving backwards!
-
The part where the bullet comes out, all the way down to where the rounds go in. Just my opinion though.

We shoot Thursday the 11th. Hope it goes better than SC.Time is getting close !!

Ignorance Is Bliss!!

Splits are for show. You can run 100% classifiers with .2 splits There are very few instances were splits matter.
-
I've never really liked them. We just grab a cold one and sit on the ground.
-
It hard to sell a Useless Animal!! Its even expensive to get rid of them by other means. $250.00 to dig a hole to put them in.sell the horse

Lee dies on a Dillon 550. I've never an issue with not having enough thread.
-
34 for Production an 35 for Limited. Going with the 34 gives you an extended mag release and slide lock. You also get adjustable rear sights.
-
I agree. I've never understood piecing together pistols.I prefer complete pistols.

We've all been there. I had all my reloading stuff shipped to my shop and set it up in my office. SLOWLY started moving it all home.
hahaha that is true.Unfortunately for me, I've asked for a lot of forgiveness this year already. Plus I really don't have anywhere to set it up which is a bummer.
Its easier to ask for forgiveness, than it is to ask for permission.my wife won't let me get one until we get a house. Our apartment doesn't have enough space anyhow.

+2Wagon holds your cooler, chair, range bag.
then it also holds your shooting buddies range bag.
then you can have him drag it around all day!

Anyone running Bayou Bullets in an open gun?

That can't be a pleasant experience. Thanks Sarge. I guess that's something you don't think of until it happens to you.
Of course it does. The only thing that makes me wince a little while ROing is to see a shooter cup his hand over the ejection port and gently rack a loaded round into it. Lot's of extended this and that parts on these competition guns and plenty of ammo loaded really too long to clear said parts reliably.
That make sense. Thanks.
If they loose control of slide and primer of partially ejected round hits ejector and detonates then shrapnel goes into hand covering ejection port. I have seen pictures of this with a Glock in a training bulletin. Not a pretty sight.
Why does ejecting the round into your hand make you cringe? Seeing people eject live round onto the ground make me run for cover.I'm not cool enough to catch the round in the air and I'm smart enough to not cover the ejection port with my hand. I just let the round land on the ground then pick it up. I don't think the flip/catch is unsafe and it doesn't bother me but seeing someone cover the ejection port with their hand and eject the round into it makes me cringe.
In 50 years I have never seen a round detonate after hitting the ground. But in the last 3-4 I have seen detonations in the shooters gun hands.
Or happens to someone standing right beside you.
