Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have a SBE2 with a Noveske XRail mag and Briley upgrades along with a C-Rums welded lifter - runs well. Planning on sending it out to Triangle to get the loading port and bolt worked on. I did pick up a Wolff reduced power spring to see if it can run any shells less than 1 1/8 which I will report my findings. Benelli tech support advises against it as they do get their stuff back with them and they swap it out to put the stock recoil spring. Thinking of picking up another SBE2...great all around shotgun I found...
  2. yeah - I'm sticking with using my SRS than going out and shopping for new optics...
  3. Alaskapopo - what did you end up running instead since selling the Benelli M4 and the Noveske?
  4. I'm planning to send it out to Triangle after I get some boxes run through the current setup and then again after I get the new spring setup - that way any fine tuning can be done while it is sent out. - thanks for everyone's input - it really helped!
  5. awesome - thanks for the feedback! I already own an SRS02 and didn't want to have to purchase another optic if I didn't have to at the moment...
  6. awesome - I just got my 24in barrel and throwing on the TrijiDot on it to go for some rounds with it. After that, I'm sending it off to Triangle to get the loading port worked on. Also does anyone know if the M2 and SBE2 bolts are the same (just the bolt - not including the Benelli link)?
  7. Has anyone used their Trijicon SRS for 3-gun or have seen it in use? I would like to use as much of the stuff I currently have than having to purchase more equipment unless it is absolutely necessary. Thanks in advance!
  8. RescueYou - mind sending pics of the loading port and such? Also - do anything to have it shoot 7/8 loads?
  9. When I first got it, I was trying to use 1oz shells and just kept getting frustrated but now that I have this thing cycling 1 1/8, I have not tried to go back to something lighter - could have been a break-in period perhaps...I was thinking about getting an M2 but now I've decided to just get the work done to my SBE2 and just have one shotgun. I ran into issues with getting my hands on an AR rifle with the shortage of parts that I ended up with three rifles now and don't want to repeat that mental madness. Since the barrel is ordered, I just need to figure out if I should go with Triangle or Taran to work on the loading port...
  10. awesome! well all that justifed my itchy clicky finger - meaning my impulsive purchase of a 24in barrel on the computer last night...hahaha!!! Now to locate a spring kit...
  11. the Briley one recommends to use blue l/t on the screw - they mill it so the bolt release tab doesn't spin around
  12. It seems that any Benelli that I see online, dvd, youtube videos is the always an M2. Is the SBE2 inadequate for 3-gun? I currently have modified my SBE2 with the following - Briley Bolt handle and lever release kit, magazine extension by x-rail and a welded and polished lifter from C-Rums. I currently have a 28in barrel on it but looking to get a shortened one. Any ideas to what is the right barrel length to get? They offer 24 and 26in barrel for the SBE2. Looking for any advice along with pros-cons between the M2 vs the SBE2 as I don't really see a noticeable difference with the exception that the SBE2 can also fire 3.5 shells. Thanks ahead of time!
