Try Bevin @ Grams Engineering. He did my STI DVC barrel which is TiN coated. Great service and results.

I cannot generate the webfile from Safari on my MacBook Pro. Would really appreciate the input. The file dowloads as an .html file. I do not know how to make it a .txt file. Thanks for your help.
Works on my iMac. You are using the rightmost button at the bottom of the page correct?

I second sending the barrel to Beven. He did my .40S&W on my DVC and it came out great. Super fast turnaround as well.

I tried around 10 times. Half were just over 300ms (low 20 year old) and the other half were <300ms (down to 246ms) which says I'm not human.
I'm 56. Interesting test and results. Too bad there isn't an option for an audible cue.

The TiN was already polished off the feed ramp at the factory.

DVC owner hear. I vote Limcat.

That's my gun. It's really nice.
It replaces my DVC as my primary gun. I should had gone with a full custom right from the start instead of installing a metal grip, sv trigger, EGW ambi safety on my DVC. Gun ended up costing about the same as a full custom one did.
Don't use 9 for USPSA, go 40 S&W.
Nice Ed. Good luck with it. You shooting it at Spring Blast?

You can email all the shooters from the match from Practiscore on the web. We don't do so from the tablets.
Find the completed match in the club section.
Choose manage shooters -> approve/view shooters
In the upper right is "Email shooters". Use that to email out the link to the Practiscore results.
That's out range SOP.

Our club has used that also. As stated, approve w/ custom price.

Any reason why Area 8 is not listed?
-
Area7 registration was the second attempt and still a joke. Took me 20 minutes to complete the process.

Another vote for the Dawson lo-pro. Just make sure you use a little blue loc-tite or it will loosen up after every stage.

My team mates and I (Team Infidel) bring our own tape guns to bigger matches. Never an issue with us and taping. We're done before the RO gets back to the shooting box.
I like the idea of having some pasters (including black and white for no-shoots and hard cover) when ROing a stage. One more little extra to keep things moving. I hate lazy squads.

My past 45ACP load was 4.5gr Winchester WST over a 230r FMJ Precision Delta or Berrys plated RN. I'm shooting .40 for the most part now though.

Yes, however, the metal followers don't like sand. The WC EMT has a plastic follower that is much more tolerant.

I have the no-gap. When I miss a single stack reload, it's usually because I hit the front of the well where the gap is. The no-gap prevents that. The basepad requirement is a pain but it is what it is.

My STI DVC is supposed to have a 15lb mainspring and I use Remington SP primers with no ignition issues.

I was torn between a Brazos tuned Edge and the stock STI DVC.

I get 20 rounds of 40SW in my 140mm STI magazines, Dawson +1 plates and the Grams follower/spring kits. No cutting of springs is required.
Ditto.

Me and several of my teammates who shoot Edges (I shoot a DVC) load 180gr FP Ibejiheads over 4.2-4.4gr Titegroup @ 1.160 COL. Works well for all of us if we need to share for some reason. 4.3 to 4.4 insures major PF for level 2 and 3 matches. 4.2 usually make major and is the default for local level 1 matches. YMMV.

Any reported issues with the DVC limited? I have played around on here seeing what people are saying. And most seems to be the normal and sometimes subjective problems.
I have about 1K through mine now (40S&W). I load to 1.160 and it runs fine. Just shot the Mid-Atlantic Sectional last Saturday. Gun was flawless; shooter was not.
I'm very happy with it. My teammate finished right behind me in LTD with an identical gun. Except for a couple of non-chamber-checked rounds not chambering, it ran flawless too. The chambers on these are tight (right at minimum SAMMI specs) and rounds need to be CC'ed to be safe. Might be that the TiN coating adds just enough thickness to make it tight.

I think a short bull barrel 9mm 1911 would be fun.
I shot a 3" Kimber Ultra CDP2 in .45ACP in a match a couple times. Not much fun. :/

Great insight Bob. I think you nailed it.

Hello: Those are the ones. I think I still may have some that I would sell. Let me check. Thanks, Eric
I could use a couple myself if any more are available.
STI DVC Limited Front Sight Loose
in 1911-style Pistols

Same thing happened on mine. I removed the sight, staked the dovetail base with a center punch, cleaned off all the oil and debris, and put red loctite on it. After a couple matches, it is again just a touch loose. >_<
So many issues with this gun that I'm swearing off stock STI's. Custom for any future purchases.
