flechette shot shells hold very tight patterns but are hard to find and expensive. also I'm not sure if there are rules against them

specific the rounds tend to hang up on the top of the mag tube inside the receiver. I saw brownells has a replacement flipgate thingy that looked promising but might I also throat the top edege of the hole into the mag tube???

My tanfoglio 38 super's balistic preformance is just fine as it is however, I can acheave greater capacity (+2) by using 9 largo or 9x23 because of the rim size. Both seem to cycle just fine with zero modifacation to the gun although I've only put one mag of each through it. My question is should I exchange or alter the extractor or any other parts to shift calibers?

I've been searching for barrels,comps,sight mounts,mag wells and such for my 38 super witness with little or no luck I tried brownells FAC & all the big 1911 custom shops wilson combat ,sv,sti & got zip. Does anyone know where to go??? also if I want to shoot 9x23 or 9 largo should I change extractors??
