Dry fire as much as possible until you can live fire. Then repeat.

Looks like some of the accessory shops like Midway USA now stock the Gen 4 backstrap kits.

I have used lone wolf, storm lake, and KKM barrels in .40 and 9mm glocks using plated and FMJ bullets and titegroup with great success. The chambers are tighter which give me a sense of comfort and the lockup is tighter as well. I have not experienced failure to feed problems. Accurate shooting and piece of mind.

Got a Glock 21 for IDPA CDP and maybe USPSA limited 10. I have a Comp-Tac original paddle holster for my Glock 17 and shoot it in both IDPA/USPSA and really like the paddle's feel and performance. Thinking about getting the international to have the option to drop/offset if I try to shoot limited 10. Those that have both, can you comment on the new vs old paddle in the standard configuration (non DOH).

Looks great. I think I might have to give them a call. Not sure if I want a 24 or 35. Did you send them the barrel or order it thru them? The delail on it really adds to the look.

I have a similar problem with target focusing and also rear vs front sight focus. My eyes sometimes have a hard time picking up and staying on the front sight. Fiber front and plain black rear helps this for me.
I wear contacts for distance. I told my doctor I have trouble focusing quickly after near and far transitions (didn't specify shooting related). The doctor said eyes are a muscle that need to be worked out. He said hold a pencil up in front of you and practice focusing on the tip of the pencil and then the wall behind it and vice versa.
Seth, did you get shooting glasses from a standard eye doctor?

I have large hands and tend to get such a high grip on my Glock that I always ride the slide release. I changed to a standard slide release and it cut down on the failures to lock back but didn't completely resolved it for me. Using the large back strap and a slightly modified grip by placing my thumb away from the control and I have eliminated the issue.

If you want to order the factory original go to the bottom of the Glock website, click on the downloadable materials, and select the parts order form for non-certified armorers (unless you are one). I mailed in my order form today for beavertail grips for my G17 and G23. $16 per gun and $5 for shipping.

Being new to the 1911 platform I started out using a light coat of CLP on my Les Baer and I had some function problems. Another shooter told me oil the heck out of it and that helped but I was throwing oil all over the place. I changed over the slide glide lite and it runs great! No function problems, stays where you put it, and the slide runs smooth. It is a little more messy cleaning afterward but worth it.

I purchased directly from glock a couple months ago. Took right around a month to get. Fax in your order to glock, real easy.
Sounds good thanks.
How do they compare to the grip force?

I have not tried the factory beavertail yet, but the grip force on a gen 4 points and feels better in the hand for me. I would like to order the factory part to try it, but have not yet seen it for sale. anyone???

I signed up on their website to be notified when they get bullets back in stock. That was awhile ago and now after reading this topic, I see they had stock but didn't notify me.... I guess this forum is better than their automated system???
And even better is to use mozilla as your browser and get the free add on called scanner update, navigate to the MG 9mm page, expand it to view all 9mm, right click and select scanner, set to scan every 15 min and select all/any changes. now keep mozilla open. there is also an app for android phones that works with mozilla.
Keep what you are looking for in your wish-list this way you just log in and quickly proceed to checkout with minimum keystrokes.
Good tip. Installed and scanning. Thanks.
