I was on Nordic's site today looking for a CZ specific barrel clamp to no avail, but wuddya know, they have made another run of bolt handles if anyone still needs one.

Switched an same result. No feed manually. It will drop when I hit the carrier release on lifter but still no manual cycle. It does cycle while shooting......weird! Disassembled and cleaned and polished no change...
This may be a silly suggestion so I apologize in advance. But when you finish loading the tube have you been pressing the load gate release button so it will feed into the chamber?

Need some input... I have begun to have some feeding issues. With the bolt forward I can load the mag tube with 8 rounds with no issues. When I charge the bolt handle the round In the tube does not come out and gets chambered. It will not cycle manually.
Any suggestions?
Sounds like the follower/mag spring is getting stuck. I had this issue when I switched the the mag tube follower from Nordic. It would stick, so I switched back to the stock follower and the issue went away.

Mine will run reduced recoil rio star slugs without failures also.

Anyone know if the Elzetta ZSM light mount will work for our 712's?

I hope they have the machining dimensions all ironed out, I had to file away to get that ATI pistol grip to sit flush.
Interested to see how the ATI mag tubes compare to the Nordic one.

I put another 125 rounds on the gun today, so 375 total on the bolt handle. No issues. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the action bar.
That's strange, my action bar is all black, must be another part the changed in the 2013 model.

black and 8 inches.
Sorry, someone had to do it.

I have a new 712 utility that does not like any ammo under 1300 fps. I email cz and they sent me a new recoil spring. the new spring is only 8" long the recoil spring in the gun is a little over 11 " . I email the cz gun smith a picture of the springs and he said the short spring is what the are putting in the 712 now. he did say it was ok to use the short spring but I have not tryed it yet. Do any of you that have 712 that were made in 2013 know how long the recoil springs are in your guns. Thanks Johnny
Do you have a picture? My recoil spring on my 2013 712 is black, not sure on the length, I'm at the work at the moment. But from memory I believe it's closer to 8" than it is 11".

Looks like ATI Gunstocks is selling a follower now for the CZ 712, has anyone tried it out? The one from nordic performs poorly in my 712 so I am considering getting ATI's. $15 though.

Went to the range, shot 18 rounds of 00 buck (low recoil 1200fps) and 10 rounds of slugs (low recoil 1200fps).
Bolt cycled perfectly, no failures of any sort. Disassembly and reassembly has been a breeze.
Obligational range photo.

Installed mine last night, fits well and matches the bolt nicely. Will try to test it this evening.

Got mine! Looks great! Hopefully I'll be able to fit and test this weekend.

The difference here guys is we aren't "trying" to get the handles made, we ARE making the handles ourselves. Production isn't a question. Doug has a full service machine shop, we aren't trying something new in the garage.
Look. I realize you have a shop, that has nothing to do with it.
What I'm trying to tell you is there is there appears to be variance from gun to gun on the size and style of the stock handles, this effects how it locks into the bolt. Just because it works on your gun, there is a posibility it may not work on others. Before you kick into production, you may want to send a few out to test on other guns to be sure that this issue wasn't just isolated to mine and Kyle's 712s
I'm trying to tell you what we went through, and hopefully something you can avoid.
That's a valid point, the older models vary in other ways from the 2013's models. And so on and so forth.

Few more quick pics installed on the gun. Video in use upcoming.
Oh lawd, I done need this now.
-
Woah, that is a sexy piece right there.
Interested!
I can only take credit for recognizing the need. A good friend of mine did all of the machining. Check out some of his other work here....the pic of the M&P on the homepage is my personal gun. Doug is a genius with a machine!
Wow, that is insanely intricate. I'm impressed.

was going to need extra steps in maching process in order to get them 100% and they werent going to be able to do enough to make it worth the time for them
Oh I see, that makes sense.
Luck doesn't appear to be on our side :/

Haha alright well keep us posted, did the shop say why they decided not to make any more?
-
Link works, how much do you want for it?
-
That's good to hear, do you have a picture of the working handle?
-
How much are the factory handles?
-
On a diffent note to all that still want the extended handle..your factory one can be modded to get that look/function..
I have seen this done to a benneli and what the guy did (i seen it work) was to take a small peice of aluminum pipe about 3/8" dia. and about an 1" long ,,slide it over the existing handle a then fill the remaining area around it with a 2part epoxy ..just a thought for those still wanting to run one to give it a try???
That's a good idea, like JB I'm guessing, but then you have a pretty permanent modification.

I've been running 1200fps RIO Low Recoil Buckshot and slugs through mine since out of the box.
My girlfriend had never shot a shotgun before and she handled it fine with normal loads and low recoil loads (preferred those of course).
