Just making sure I'm reading the matrix correctly. I'm on Squad 14, so I'll shoot stages 5, 6, 7, 4, (all stages in Zone B ) and then stage 1 on Thursday afternoon?

Not sure when these rumors occurred, but NJSP issued HK P7M8's from 1983 until 2000 or so. Initially, the SW99 was chosen to replace the HK's, but a large amount of failures during transition training caused NJ to cancel the contract and go with SIG P228's. These were issued until 2014 when they switched to the P229 Enhanced Elite. All of these pistols are/were 9mm.

I remember a discussion on bookface about this issue, and Rob Romero stated that the spirit of the rule was that it was immediately obvious that the capacity hadn't been increased over that of a factory mag.

I've got an 18" rifle gas 1-8 twist that shoots lights out! I build an SPR style rifle around it for DM style matches.
What ammo does it like?

I'm building a new rifle with an 18" midlength 1x8 barrel from Black Hole that I picked up off the prize table at the 3GN Southern Regional. Any experiences with their barrels?

Have you done any performance mods to your M3K to run low velocity slug/shot?
Nope, just opened the loading port and added a Nordic +9. It was sluggish at first with low-recoil stuff but after running about 150rds of 3.25dr loads and making sure that the mag tube is well-lubed, it runs great.

Remember slings for both guns in May.

Will we actually need 2 slings (ie use them both on the same stage)? Or will one sling work as long as it's compatible with both guns?

What's the probable causes & fix when a occasional round doesn't fire? When this occurs, sounds like hammer drops, next shell releases, I rack it and the gun runs again.
I'm the 2nd owner but I was told the guns history is 1000-1500 rounds, carbon arms tube, Benelli extractor. Barrel extractor groove was also pretty rough, I polished this area and the problem occurs much less but still had 2 on a 20 rd stage today (60 rds total). Has happened with Federal bulk pack and today was Gun Clubs, gun clean & well lubed.

When you rack the bolt, is a live or spent shell being ejected? If it is a live shell, is there a primer strike?

Fiocchi low recoil slugs won't reliably run in Stoeger m3000/m3k. Two different guns were tried. One tried them during a match because he forgot to bring his, lol.
At least the 1oz slugs. 7/8 are faster but still might not work.
No idea about if the buck will work or not.
Everything runs great in my JM.
The 7/8's run 100% in my M3K.

I'm running 140mm STI tubes with TTI spacer, spring, floorplate and follower in my 9mm SPS Pantera and I'm having 2 issues. The first is that I can load 23 rounds easily, but when I seat the mag with the slide forward, the follower tilts, binds and locks up. The other issue is that the last round in the mag causes the slide to lock to the rear with the live round halfway between the follower and the feedramp. Has anybody experienced these or knows a solution? Thanks!

Is it a common problem for a new M3K to have occasional issues with feeding 3dr 1 1/8oz loads (Federal Walmart bulk pack)? About every 8th to 10th round I will get a failure to feed where the bolt goes forward on an empty chamber and the next round is still on the carrier. I ran 2 boxes of Winchester AA 3 1/4dr 1300FPS today and they ran 100% with no malfunctions.

Well, I finally jumped on the M3K bandwagon. I opened up the loading port a little further, undercut the front of the trigger guard, added a Nordic +9 extension and follower, swapped out the front sight for a Hi-Viz, added a Cheek-EZ pad, and added a TTI safety and lifter. Still breaking it in, had an occasional FTF with Walmart bulk-pack Federal #8's, but no catastrophic malfunctions.

What is the difference between 140mm STI 9mm and 38 Super mags? Are the bodies the same but with a spacer? Are there any other differences?

Scenario (3GN rules)-
You finish engaging a series of targets with either rifle or shotgun. While moving to the dump barrel, and holding the long gun in your weak hand, may you draw your pistol (as long as 180 rule is satisfied and no shots are fired prior to abandoning the long gun)?

Another Armalite fan here. Also, Armalite sells replacement inserts for their brake if you over-drill it or change loads and want to re-tune it.
