  1. I couldn't pass up the price so the 17th I bought 10k $230 shipped to my door, they added sales tax.

I will be loading these soon, since I shoot hammer fired guns with light hammer springs I semi crush my primers that aren't federal since my local target shop hasn't had the feds in a while. Winchester sp has boom every time with a small crush ring evident in every seated primer and can hope S&B work the same.

  2. I'd love to know why anyone thinks the TS trigger needs to be any lighter. It's 1lb, 10oz by the time it breaks in, that's lighter than most hunting rifles. I emailed back in forth with CZ Custom about whether or not it's worth doing the comp hammer in a TS and he told me that I *might* be able to notice a difference, but the factory hammer is designed to be essentially the same thing... so it's probably a wash anyway. So why fuss with a totally different hammer when the trigger in this gun is so ungodly good anyways?

It's not about lighter (although small benefit) but about being a lot crisper. On both my TS - factory trigger is good, but the competition hammers make it great!

Agree 100% with this and I run a 15lb hammer spring with the competition hammer. I tried lighter springs and you can really drop the pull weight but I love the crisp clean break with no creep still under 2lbs. The only thing my 1911 trigger has on the my TS is 1/2mm shorter reset.

  3. Have a 40 TS that I did the grip reduction, trigger and beavertail undercut. VZ grips, front and back checkered 20lpi and cerakote. Added fo front sight, czc hammer, springs and idpa magwell.

Compared with a elete limited that a very good friend shoots I would consider it going backwards if I bought a limited.

  4. I made a paper template and then cut out 1 wrap around piece of skate tape for my p09. I love it.

My 40 TS got a grip reduction and checkered front and back 20lpi with vz grips.

SP01s get front and back skate tape with rubber for me and vz for my boys smaller hands.

1911 wears the vz operator 2s with 20lpi front and back checkered.

I would try the skate tape first because you can always remove if you don't like them. I have never had my skate tape move or fall off but I do have to be careful with the brake cleaner.

  5. I started on a limited budget so my son convinced me to buy a pro1000. He 17 at that time set it up and I cranked out ammo, after 60k + of 9mm sold it and purchased a loadmaster which does 9,40 and 45acp with a little tinkering usually caused by me. The web videos are a great help and I will not need anything more expensive.

Also have a classic turret that I use for rifle 243,270 and 7.63x39.

Would I recommend lee progessives to everyone no but the classic turret yes.

  6. I have retrieved 124gr Montana Gold hps out of sand traps and ballistic blocks and I could reload and shoot them again. The rifling is the only visible on the bullet that would otherwise look perfect.

I would NOT use these for self defense unless it is all you have.

  7. The trigger bar spring is staked from the factory. I put mine in tight and bend the spring to get the desired effect, trial and error. I have used new springs that haven't gone through the staked removal process and they do go in with less trial and error.

  8. Is the area 3 wall, back and 2 sides? Steel studs or construction lumber?

If it is a 3 wall you will have no problem since there should be studs in the corners. 2x4 frame with 2 layers of 3/4 plywood will be more than sufficient.

Find the studs not every dwelling is built 16 inch center for stud layout , it could be 24 inch.

If it is 2 wall, back and 1 side that is a more complicated bench.
