Use MEK to remove the percision molly from your barrel, very quick and easy.
-
I must be blessed, no primer issues in the last 9k and only 1 or 2 in great while flipped before that. 9mm and 40 runs like a champ.
-
Smitty ream it, every cz I own has had it.

1000 rounds will polish everything including your shooting

Do you have the extended firing pin in it?Just an update. Out of 1,300 rounds fired over the last 3 days I got about 5% primer strikes where the round did not fire. This was on a CZ 75 TS in .40 S&W. I was using AR Rifle Mathc primers from Federal. I guess I will have to keep searching for pistol primers as I can't afford misfires during a match.
If not might want the extra insurance it offers.
What # hammer spring?
I have a 15lb and no extended firing pin with zero issues but I flatten them when seating them.
I use S&B and love them

147gr always shoot higher, the slower bullet stays in the barrel longer so it is picking up the muzzle rise ever so slightly causing it to shoot higher.
I have at least 5 different height fron sights for the different bullets and powders I have played with.

I love 200gr bbi's and acme in my ts40.
My powders of choice are n320, rs competition and wst.
-
Acme 147gr and the new 147gr bbi are different, the bbi oal is much shorter.
All my CZ barrels are reamed. So the mag is the limiting factor but every new bullet gets the drop test.
I'm fairly confident that this new, shorter OAL can work. But just in case I don't like it, who reamed your barrels?
In my Apex barrel the 147 BBI can only be loaded to 1.135. The Acme's plunk and spin at 1.15.
You talking about the 147 BBI w/ or w/out the lube groove?
I had a great member of this forum send me one to borrow and I did 4 cz 9mms. I sent the reamer back with a little thank you.
I have reamed every cz I own and don't regret anything. Whisk I would have done it sooner.

Moab skate tape off eBay $7 for a sheet shipped.
With a heat gun it will stick to any curve or radius.

I couldn't drop 200gr acme or bbi beyond 1.130 and ended with a finished oal of 1.125. I wasn't comfortable running the 200gr and fast powders at that short of a oal. After reaming I am definitely more comfortable and love the 200gr in my gun for me.
I tested acme 180gr and can get 1.169 in my mags, but will stick to oals of 1.155.
-
200gr acme and bbi, 180 acme I load to 1.155oal.
I even borrowed 5 mags from a friend for sectionals and the fit with no issues.
I probably could take a picture but unless someone really questions it they should try to load long for their mag. I could only load to 1.125 with bbi 200gr before reaming now the mags are the tried limiting factor for me and I bet I could go to 1.160.
-
If AA has your gun you should call them and have your barrel reamed.
I had my barrel done and glad I did. I load bbi and acme 200gr to 1.155 and have no feeding issues.
A little Piece of mind when loading heavy bullets and fast powders, plus any profile bullet at 1.140.
-
I am on 7k with them and no issues.
During the holidays they were $17.99 with $20 off if you spend $100 at Cabelas. So 6k out the door was $89 a trip.
They are used in sp01s and my ts, I do make sure they are a little beyond seated fully.
Please don't buy if you have doubts, leave them for me.

200 acme or 200 BBI

I believe a beveled base bullet would also help.

I ran 3.7gr 200gr bbi 1.155 oal ts40 over my chrono and was at 176pf.
Working up 3.6 and 3.5 to see what happens over the chrono.
My main load is wst 4.0gr to make major.

Percision bullets still uses molly coating. If they changed to hitek or even powder coating I would be ordering tomorrow.
I have a bunch of 125gr data but it is at home and will have to dig for it.
The new coatings are far superior to the molly coatings imo.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone else's factory TS bushing look like this? Pardon the crappy phone pics..
Yes

Did you get your stock bushing removed? My TS .40 bushing is not cooperating. I've tried freezing the slide. I've tried the socket technique. It is not budging. How hard did you have top hammer the socket?
I was able to remove mine, shot of pb blaster 7/16 1/4" socket and 3/8" 6" extension. Had to use a 2x4 on the concrete floor and a 20oz hammer, and I had to use more force than you would have thought.
The bushing is in after freezing it and a good blow from a hard rubber hammer. The barrel doesn't fit in the bushing, to tight. I am going to remove a little material around the bushing and polish the barrel. This is for my ts40, had no issues with the sp01s.

200gr bbi 4.0gr n320 1.155oal cz ts40 175pf
The powder I am liking and going to play with more is ramshot competition and 200gr bullets.
-
True for the sp01, now the TS bushing is more flush to the slide because the barrel is more flush to the slide. Both bushings made different.

Hp38 at Recobs $138, they also have other powders available to ease the hazmate cost.
