Subscribe to The Blaze TV and watch season 3 of 3GN and Hotshots together on the internet.
The downside to airing on The Blaze is that it is polarizing due to all the people that wont want to sign up because it is Glenn Beck's channel.

very true!!!!!!
you couldnt give me a para, well i suppose you could but it would immediately be sent to my smith for new internals and fitting
Before you discard all Paras as junk and lump them in with the old garbage ones, give a new Para a feel. The fit and finish is excellent and they use good parts in their higher end guns. I have not been disappointed by the Black Ops models I have been trying to keep in stock

Bro, do u even lift?

Lol all joking aside, switching from a Glock to any style 2011 is a huge weight difference and will take some getting used to, but once you do you will never go back Enjoy the heck out of that blaster of yours!

Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2

And remember all used guns only have 2k rounds through them :-)

Thats funny because in the regular guns (non compentition) world, everyone who brings a gun to my shop to trade or sell says it has "no more than 100 rounds through it". >_>

They do have a lead time as stated but they are great guys and it is well worth the wait.

Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2

Why aren't you reloading with a round in the chamber?
That is usually the plan or reload on the move but I feel that sometimes lockback has it's advantage. I try to avoid shooting to lockback except on the last shot of a COF.
Wondering though, do any Glock shooters modify their stop to not lockback? I believe many Glock shooters do not run the extended slide release but don't recall hearing about no lockback...
Glock shooters dont have to as the slide wont lock back prematurely. I cant tell you how many failure to lock open on last shot ive seen with that extended slide catch on the Glocks though.

I was considering ordering a tuned STI Edge off Brazos myself. Really? A year wait? *damn* Perhaps I should get my order in now! What sort of deposit did to have to make or was the whole price up front?
I have been looking at the different options when ordering a gun as well. I was thinking that my best course would be to order something at the start of winter so that I can shoot it in the spring and summer... I guess I need to move up my ordering time so that I can get it quicker.
I too have the same questions as buckonz. What type of deposit did they require for it, or was it full price up front?
The deposit was $700, I do not recommend waiting to try and time your delivery as it appears their wait time is going up. Regarding options, I definitely recommenf hard chrome and the ultragrip for $60 is a pretty decent price considering a contoured and stippled grip is going to cost about $200 from somewhere else after the fact.

That is more of a warning than a question. There is an old adage if something sounds too good to be true it probably is. That and you get what you pay for.400$ for a 1-12 power optic that is lighter weight than the vortex hd2.. why does no one use this scope?

Id bet you are slapping the trigger on your shiny new 2011. Youre used to that heavier, longer Glock trigger and need to just get some time in with your new blaster...dry fire is your best friend

Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2

Larue SPR-E. Scope definitely wants to be far forward.
Vortex has a dual QD mount with 3" of offset that works well and is quite a bit less expensive than the Larue and manufactured by American Defense.

I very much appreciate the kind words. If only I could get my mother in law to feel the same way...I have to agree with lksyotas, Omar has been very responsive and is a pleasure to deal with.
Apparently you guys are buying them faster than Vortex can make 'em! I promise they are worth the wait :)Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2Should have pulled the trigger sooner, I tried to order today and they are out of stock.Paid my deposit, maybe 30 days out...
Omar,
I don't doubt they're worth the wait and 30 days is fast approaching, any word on order status?
I am supposed to be getting a decent shipment of them next week. People can PM me to get put on a preorder list.
No they don't make you sign a non-disclosure agreement. What's wrong with calling Omar and asking him? He's a great guy to work with. Besides prices change.
My name is Omar and I approve this message.
Thank you.
vort
A question to those who have purchased the Vortex from Southern Guns: Do they make you sign a non-disclose agreement regarding the price? If not, what is their price?
Vortex is very sensitive about dealers advertising at less than MSRP, hence reluctance to publicly disclose price. Not a conspiracy on the part of dealers and customers.

I really like the EFX-A1 stock from Mags LLC. Great cheek weld without being overly heavy. Balances out my 18" gun very well.

So we should nuke an existing division or create a new one to cater to a few people who want to shoot open, but not really shoot open? In all seriousness, because the guns in question are typically used by the "tactical" crowd, this division would be a better fit for IDPA.

Hey Nik Ya thats what they're doing now but if your a competitive person you wouldn't want to give up that much of a equipment disadvantage shooting against full on race rigs . I think Production rules with slide mounted optic's is the next big thing lets get rid of limited 10 its outlived its usefulness anyway and get Production optic's going
Yeah? Hilton Yam made A class in open with a 4.25 m&p shooting minor with a melted rmr, no comp and plenty of skill. Hes at a huge equipment disadvantage but you know what they say, its the indian not the arrow
