Bob, can you give a rough round count? Will the pistol start on a table or something to eliminate the need for holsters that work with lights or do we need holsters? Thank you and Merry Christmas.

The buzzer goes off, on your first shot you realize your ear plugs are not in. What's the call? Is it a DQ a re-shoot what? Thanks.

I've got one of those mounts and have a RTS2 mounted on it. I like it very much but I think I'm one of the few who has an RTS2 that works.
-
I've got 2500 9mm factory rnds. thru my G-17 RTS2. About 2/3 of those were slide mounted now it's on an SJC frame mount. I love mine but it works so that's given. I think I have a Gen 2 bought after they supposedly fixed the battery contacts. We'll see I have some Major rounds ready. If it fails I'll get a sideways C-more and send it back.

Midway had 4# Power Pistol, sold out 18min after I got the text.

Shooters Source sells QD inserts that have nuts on the back side. They require a hole with rear access(my favorite kind) I think they list them under shotguns. They are similar to the ones that Remington uses on the Versamax Comp. It sounds like the ones mentioned are for blind holes.

I think they say they are file fit on the website. On mine it was file fit. 15 min with a file and it fits/works great. I might even go another 5 min to loosen it up a bit more but I'm giving it some time. Note each Glock can be a little different, of the three I tried all fit with differing amounts of resistance. All still useable but slightly different.

I had the IMSI 170mm in my Taylor extended mags. They were so softly sprung the last round hold open wouldn't work. The tension when pushing down the follower was much less than my Dawson and Arrendondo 140mm IMSI ones. I did as above and used a Wolf +5% 33 rnd. spring with two coils cut off. They work now.

Mark I know you like the reduced gas port of the Nordic barrels as it eliminates the need for an adjustable gas block. If you had to use an adjustable gas block what are some of the brands you'd consider? Thank you, this post has some great info in it from you and others.

PS, I'm posting this for Phil. As stated any questions call Phil, thank you and see you there.

Mine does weird things with the dimmer switch too. If I dim it down it turns off, when I turn it back on its one notch dimmer, repeat to get the intensity wanted. It turns up fine.
I have the 2nd Gen but not the latest one out now. I have about 1500rnds 9mm minor slide mounted on mine, seems to work OK, but the jury is still out and Minor ain't Major!

Please do I'm going to be doing this when my Racemaster gets here Wednesday. Thank you.
-
I was talking about using the whole .40 cal slide on my g-17 grip section. So even though the 9mm and the .40 cal have different ejectors the right ejector would stay with the right slide.
-
I run the same comp shooting factory loads and needed to go to a 10# spring. The #11 would not function reliably. I have an RTS2 on the slide.
-
9mm? .40cal? I'm guessing 9mm with that comp. What recoil spring is in the gun? Does it lock back on an empty mag? Did it ever run right or has it always done this?
-
Thank you guys. Within the year I will be reloading and shooting a 2011. Until then I will continue, as you suggest, to shoot minor and get used to the USPSA game while mainly concentrating on 3 Gun.
-
I've got a KKM barrel and a 4 port Carver comp. I don't reload. So the problem is getting Major Power Factor 9 mm ammunition vs the hassle of swapping slides, re-zeroing and shooting off the shelf .40 cal to make Major. I'm thinking getting Major 9mm is easier all around?
-
Thanks for the reply. I'm not set up to reload yet so I was playing with the idea of just swapping my 35 slide on. I guess I should just buy so high power 9mm reloads and keep the gun the same.
-
I shoot 3 Gun with a G-17 with a frame mounted C-more can I swap off my 9mm slide and put on a complete G-35 slide and shoot USPSA Open High Power with it? Any issues with this approach I'm not seeing? Thank you.

My open Glock frames have rounded trigger guards. My question is will the Racemaster still lock up tight on my Glock? I will primarily use this for 3 Gun and Steel. Thank you.
