  1. I use the SJC and the Carbon Arms Gas Hog. The SJC works very well but it's heavy, loud and has a pretty good concussion wave or whatever with it. Gas Hog works the same is much lighter, quieter and less shock wave. I vote GH.
  2. I'm referring to the JP LMOS and JP enhanced bolt
  3. I have a Voodoo and a JP. JP is noticeably smoother racking it I like the impulse better and as Gerrit says above much easier to clean.
  4. FYI my rifle weighs 8.6# with Vortex 1-6 HD and Luth stock.
  5. I run a 20" LW Criterion. I got it because with my 17" handguard and my hand at the end of it (6' 5") I got a nasty powder burn from the SJC comp on the 18" barrel. I went 20" with a sweet Gas Hog comp. Problem solved but it's not a problem a lot of people have. That Stretch 16 looks like a winner barring special circumstances like mine above.
  6. I recently found on sale at Midway extended chokes for the FNH SLP shotgun. They were cheaper than both Briley and Carlson chokes. They have a blue ring out on the end.
  7. FYI there will be a little gap between the choke and the barrel. Are you screwing it in with the choke wrench? With lube? Take a picture of it in the gun. All mine say INV for invector
  8. I'm the guy who said INVX2 on my Brileys. I think the might be INV and the X2 means extended? Not sure but they fit.
  9. I think the TTI well fits all magazine extensions or that's what "they" say. If you don't want to grind a bunch that would be my suggestion.
  10. What extensions do you use? Taylor's fit no problem. All fit with varying degrees of pressure. Meaning a good smack and they fit. I wasn't having that. I have the proper burr(cutting tool) for the soft metal, I used my dremel as I thought my air grinder might be harder to control. It went well but as I said a lot of metal removed. If you want pics pm me you email. I will add I think there is quite a range of tolerances accepted at Glock so each case is a bit different.
  11. No it was the rear edges of all the named extensions.
  12. I run a 17" Gen 1. It works great. I would buy it again
  13. Primary has good prices on the American Defense mounts. I use the AD Recon mount
  14. I run an SJC Heavy Brass and had to remove a bunch of material for my TTI, Dawson and Arrendondo base pads to fit. I do mean a bunch!
  15. I aim for 1.160" and end up at about 1.158". Works with my KKM barrels.
  16. I have a Dillon 650 and it's the boss. It won't, however prime a swaged pocket that's been incompletely removed. I agree get a 650, but don't think it automatically guarantees success with priming. I would buy a go no go type primer pocket tool from Ballistic Tools and check your pockets if they pass fine. If not then have your brass guy redo. Buy the Dillon regardless.
  17. Bill as soon as the floods stop you're welcome to shoot mine. It makes a noticeable difference. After I added the mid-barrel comp I had to go bigger ports then finally lighter spring to get it reliable. I think had I gone with the lighter spring and T&N's guide ride from the jump the gas ports would have been fine. I poor boyed my first build and had to do it piece meal anyways to get it reliable.
  18. A trigger will lead to much more improvement than a shroud
  19. To tighten the pistol grip I used an Allen key with a crescent wrench for leverage to get the wiggle out. I run the short end of the key into the hole on the crescent wrench the long end in the bolt and leverage the crescent to tighten
  20. I have to tighten the crap out of my pistol grip and then usually tighten it again after first use. I don't think the hand guard should be loose. Mine indexes up to the front of the receiver and then the nut with O-ring under it tightens it down. I have an XN which has no movement and an XN Match with no movement. Both running T&N hand guards.Talk to Josh for help On my XN I run the FFIII on the Burris mount like the FDE gun in a previous post. I run a Magpul CTR stock with a 1/2" riser to align my eyes. On my XN Match I'm running a C-more Slideride right on the top rail. No riser needed with my my Ergo stock. I like the C-more better, it's lower, it's brighter, dot size is changeable, reliable and bigger screen so finding the dot(not really a problem on shoulder fired weapons for me) is easier. I would definitely use a dot in open. One issue that has caused me more problems than all other ones combined on my XN's is loose guide rods. Get the T&N one, tighten it good and check it often
  21. Oh I know it's a shotgun but I run sights on mine too, they definitely help Sorry couldn't resist.
  22. I have two 23 rnd mags and they work. I never had any luck shooting Rio. I run my XN with the reduced spring and mid barrel comp with 1145fps AA all day long. If 3 gun is ur game get the comp it really helps but it requires some tuning as adding it made me have to add the light spring.
