Mayassa - I see you mounted a Dillon case feeder on your EVO - May I ask why? I read where the bullet feeder that comes with the EVO is not a comparable unit to the Dillon....
I ask because My EVO is due to be delivered in 5 days....I have tracking and it is in route so I wonder if I need to get a Dillon case-feeder and SP plate in route also....Thanks Mark
I have always had great luck with my case feeder from dillon on my 650 and 1050 and I had all the different plates so I just ordered a dillon. I also use a dillon powder measure it's accurate for the VV I use for 38SC. I picked up the stripped down version with my military discount at just over what my 1050 cost. I also sold my 650 with a few heads and a die set to fund almost the purchase of the EVO I had to add $400. It's a good time to sell right now, Dillon doesn't have Dies in stock so you reloader can sell pretty good if you toss a set of dies in. And pretty much everyone out grows the Dillon dies once they get serious and pick up micro adjustable seating and crimping dies. I'm thinking of selling my 1050 next with 300blk and 223 dies and an extra head. That will straight up pay for another EVO easy.

ddc - Quick follow up - I followed your recommendation above and never opened the RL1100 factory box. Sold the complete system to a gentleman for what I paid for it (the right thing to do for a fellow reloader) and used that money to purchase an Evolution....I ordered the Evo the last week of August direct from Mark7 with an estimated ship date of September 30th.
When I inquired on Sept. 30th as to my shipping details I learned that my system “might” ship later this year due to Mark7 experiencing delays in receiving certain parts from specific suppliers....I get it - I just am like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for their brother or sister to wake up so we can go see what Santa left.....
I still believe I made the right decision (for me) when I decided to sell the RL1100 and ordered the Evo.....Thanks again to you and the others here who provided the information you did....Who knows - Santa might (or might not) come early this year...Just will have to wait and see...Mark
You made the right choice for sure.

This was my same experience. Sweet spot for faultless feeding was 1.245.
I'm glad someone else confirmed my data, now if they ever come back in stock after they were sold off. I only have 2K left then I have to work up a new recipe.

Around here guys are selling decently equipped XL650's for about 140-150% of retail. With the backlog on 750's and people wanting it right now, its totally a sellers market!
Concur, I sold mine but I did toss in 2 extra heads, caliber conv, and a 223 die set and a few goodies like powder and 2K of primers
-
I load at 1.245 with hollow base plated bullets in SC never any issues
-
I use one shot on my brass, then I mark my brass after loading with the DAA, the marker works fine and the all feed fine.

Did you remove the entire shoulder or just remove material to push it back?

I just got one. Not thrilled with it. The Mr Bulletfeeder rep that I emailed regarding the feeder problems didn't even bother to return my emails, so I will be selling that POS thing as soon as possible!
Maybe someone here can walk you through it.

Who did you email? I emailed and Saul Kirsch answered personally and he is half way around the world from here. He replied within a few hours and is getting me squared away. What problems are you having that are maybe not operator error? Youtube has a fix it video for every potential problem an MBF can have. Here is a good email if you need help: info@doublealpha.biz
Mr Bullet Feeder is far from being a POS. How much do you want for it?
Lol you called early dibs!

I had one that was bad out of the box, they sent me a new motor ASAP. Always great service.

I’m calling magma engineering tomorrow about a master caster. I’ll cast my own projectiles
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYou are taking it to the next level, I enjoy the hobby teaching others to reload. I live in a condo and don't have the the room for casting.

If you live in a state that has background checks for ammo and no online sales this becomes worth it instantly
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNow more than ever, reloading supplies keep coming in, except the darn bullets I need lol down to my last 3000. I've dialed in in Dillon powder measure on my new MK 7 and use my case feeder and bullet feeder too. So my manual set up was only in the 2K range, that is the cost of a new 1100. Don't get me wrong I like my 1050, but the extra stations and the quality is sure nice to have.

Small pistol primers have a cup thickness of .017 to .020 and small rifle primers have a cup thickness of .020 to .025.
Read the link below
CHOOSING THE RIGHT PRIMER - A PRIMER ON PRIMERS

Small Rifle Standard
CCI 400 -thin .020" cup, not recommended for AR15 use by CCI/Speer. Good for .22 Hornet, .30 Carbine. See Note 1 at the bottom of the pageNOTE 1: According to Speer/CCI Technical Services - Both the CCI 550 Small Pistol Magnum and CCI 400 Small Rifle primers are identical in size. Both primers use the same cup metal and share the same cup thickness. Both primers use the same primer compound formula and same amount of primer compound. They can be used interchangeably.
Below you can see the small rifle primers with the thinner cup thickness.
Why would you post this, now I have to go measure my primers. JK
I use both SPP SRP in my loads for both 38 SC STI and Atlas pistols

Starline is the place to go. What are you using for powder and bullets?

Funny you should post this. I just used marine rtv to put mine back together today. Anything should work but I'm sure someone will want to tell us why it won't.

No I don’t I’m sure you can just call Mark seven and ask for parts and probably do an order over the phone and thanks.
Pretty simple purchase the items from eBay the button on the right is a -1 the button on the left is a reset to 0 running off of the supplied 12 V power of the case feeder. The sensor and counter from eBay The two pushbutton switches from a local hardware.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/162701941768Thanks I ordered a set on ebay and they finally came in from coronaville. I tested it tonight and it works great. I'm going to order two more sets for my rollsizer and my 1050.

Also with the new Dillon case feeder being low voltage makes it easier not having to have a separate power supply here’s my new set up.
What connection do you have on the other side of that flex hose feeding into the mark 7 is my guess

What do you mean?
