Is the buffer really necessary?

Thanks for the replies guys!

I am starting this thread because I am overwhelmed by all the things going on here with Shadow 2. There is a spaghetti of information that is driving me insane. So first things first, CGW parts or CZC parts? Disconnector for short reset and reduced pre travel, springs (what weight) etc etc etc. Thanks for your help.

By the book, even springs have to be from the manufacturer. I can use "Xtreme" springs in my tanfo since they make "factory" parts for Tanfoglio.
May be worth an email to CZ Custom, the springs they sell might be CZ direct
Great idea!

Ok Thanks!!!

I just bought a Shadow 2 and I want to change the Hammer spring. CZ used to make a 11 lbs spring, now it is impossible to find, question is, I know CZC and CGW both make that hammer spring in 11 lbs. Can I use either of those since it CZ used to make it or would I have to find the specific one CZ made? Thanks

All good answers... now Inhave more questions than answers lol nah just kidding, I will check RHT. I would love to find something like a Bravo concealment OWB for my P07 as well. Does anyone make something like that? is the Vedder one any good?

Quick question guys. I am having a bit of trouble with my Rem 1100 tactical easyloader. If I press straight up on it the carrier won't lift. I have to press up and to the right and it will release the carrier and it will lift. Any ideas as to what might be going on? Thanks!

Thank you both! This won't be a competition gun so I want to keep the trigger pull around what you have there.

Hey guys, going to pick up a CZ P07 Suppressor Ready this week and would like to know where would you send for a nice trigger jog. What are your thoughts on CZ Custom in AZ? Thanks!

I am hearing that IDPA may be allowing the X5. They think the bull barrel isn't enough of a bull barrel to exclude it. This still needs confirmation.
There is a picture flying around of Tom Yost with the gun inside an IDPA box and a caption that suggests so...

As an instructor I have an order for one and I am still to hear from them, plus you call the phone number and nobody picks up...

I took a chance on a Celestron 100mm for $229 and am thrilled with it. Full review is here: http://www.falfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4348481
Thank you so much. I have been looking at that model but thought it was not good enough... clearly I was wrong. That will probably be the one. Thanks!

Hey guys, I just finished building an SPR Mod 0 and I was hoping to top it off with a Mark 4 Leupold Mark 4 LR/T 3.5-10x40 IIlum Mil Dot Riflescope #67945. Turns out LEupold is no longer making that scope for civis... What do you suggest other than a NF that could play the part since I am trying to keep it as true to the real thing as possible? Thanks!
550 9mm multiple bullet setup
in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
Posted
Hi guys. I have a 550 that is set up for 9mm. I reload different 9mm bullets for different purposes. I use 115, 124 and 147 grain bullets and it is a PITA to be changing the bullet seat die for different depths for different bullets. Do any one here use something like a Redding precision seating die? Any other options to the Redding? Thanks! BTW I use the Dillon dies right now.
