I know about that one. I am working starting the 20th. Im in college station that week for fireschool. I live in Baytown about 20 miles east of Houston. I was looking for local club matches in the college station area.
-
I'll be in College Station the 3rd week in April (16th-19th) and was wondering if there are any clubs in that area and if they were having any matches that week.
Also they need to be evening matches due to being in fireschool all day.

Oh man that is sweet. Just watched a youtube video on it.

So it needs to be completely flush on the inside of the tube?

So I had trouble today with all 8 of my Canyon Creek equipped mags. From the follower sticking, to ftf, to the follower and a round getting wedged sideway in the mag 4 different times on 4 different mags. And i was only loading them to 20. Oh, I have them in the 16 rd .40 mags. Anybody got any advice on how to prevent this or rectify it. Also what do you use to pull the spring so that you can remove the base pads.

Just got home from the match. My arms and neck are a nice shade of pink. Didnt do well at all. Had feed problems most of the day.

I know.. it gave me a small migraine.

Well I dropped about $800 on a Liberty Revere at Gander Mountain this past week. Waitin for it to be delivered.
Sounds like a good one but I will say this. No matter what size you bought, it was too small.
Safes are like magnets for new guns.
I don't think you need a safe for the ammo but certainly a lockable container. The Stackon stuff is a good choice for that.
Oh i fully understand that proffessor, but i dont buy new guns often so it should suffice for at least 5 years.

I bought a lot more crap with my 650 and only spent about $1300 and that includes the shipping costs.

Blazing Saddles.
The humor just fell flat for me.
I dont think we can be friends anymore.

I would love to have one upper for limited and another for open.

The trigger is awesome. I have not yet checked the weight but it breaks clean as glass. I had marked the trigger guard to measure the takeup of the stock trigger, now it takes up, fires and resets in that space. I went to a local range the other day and was doin some double taps and i saw one of the employees coming over and i knew they were gonna bi#%h about my "rapid" fire, so i dumped the whole mag in about 4 seconds just to pi$$ them off and left.

10-4. I was gonna pick one up as a second reference/ cross check book. Not anymore. Besides you can find all the load data you need on the internet.

Damn cause that thing looks sweet. Once i save enough to get an Edge im turning my xdm into an open gun for steel challenge.
-
Does anybody make a thumb rest for the xdm 5.25. I got to shoot an open gun the other day that had one and it felt really comfortable and i wanna put one on my xdm.
-
So i got my press set up and am trying to get the dies adjusted. On the powder die how much should it flare the case mouth?
-
Would the magnums be ok for 40 s&w?
-
On another note, all im missing is something from Springer Precision to have a Frankenstein gun of the 3 major XDm guys on the forum.
-
OK so you cant really see the trigger kit (its hidden INSIDE the gun) but imagine that there are 2 more mags with the CC basepads laying there (they are in the mail or will be soon).
Also has the Ice magwell.
DAMN IT FEELS GOOD TO BE GANGSTA!

The unboxing. Notice the beautifully made reloading bench. $20 worth of wood, $50 and a six pack of Lone Star for labor and delivery. Of course the delivery charges were enjoyed AFTER getting home(no drinking and driving).
This is as far as i got tonight. Will finish tommorow when i get home from the Texas Open (Im just going to watch unfortunately.) Gotta get the drill from my dad to bolt the strong mount to the table.

I laughed at the guys last year that did that as they were running to the ditch to pull their masks and puke.
Im all for visiting new gun shops and meeting fellow shooters.
