I am one of a few that ended up removing the auto loader from J Kenny. It made my M2 unreliable feeding wise.

What spare parts should does everyone carry at matches? I plan on doing a pre-match check on all the fasteners but you never know..
Thanks

Finally got my VR80 back from Hayes. Took 17 weeks but the holidays were thrown in there as well as delays from the winter storm. They did a hell of a job refining the action. It looks heavier than how it handles. The trigger is averaging 3lb 1.3oz
Range day is Saturday so I’ll update with my impressions. Taking 1145, 1180, 1200, and 1250’s with me.

I don’t know of any adjustments you can make but I have zero issues with my Cheely E2 grip and 015.

There was a small thread here where a few of us were having issues with the Benelli auto loader from J Kenny when it was first released. I want to say most ended up swapping back to stock due to feeding issues of sorts.
J Kenny released a stronger spring but I’ve yet to order one. I’ll revisit it one day. Can’t afford time consuming issues at while on the clock. -

I contacted Glenn about a year ago for a build but he wasn't taking on any work.
Recently we drove by his location on Loueutta and it didn't even look like his shop wasn't there anymore.
I did send him an email yesterday
He recently did a small job for me. He’s near Spring Guns and Ammo. Unmarked..

Try reaching out to Lone Star Innovations. Glenn is in Spring.

From today. Compared to the previous video I posted, my barrel now has two 3/16” holes before the comp.
This was 147 PF. My grip wasn’t firm or was I meaning to drive the gun. It also has a plastic grip. Recoil spring is a 7# variable and the MS is 15# (Wolff).

I used a Binary Engineering 2 port comp on my Open Minor gun. It's dedicated for 3 gun. Attached video was with 115gr RN with WAC. I have to look at my notes but I think it was around 138 PF or so. Real easy shooting.

What do you feel the advantage is to running the extension? Does it impact the draw at all? One of the really nice things about the 015 is the extremely short release. Adding the muzzle support would seem to mean increasing that release by 1/4" (guessing based on the photos).
If you’re not running and gunning then skip the support. It’s not really needed for USPSA matches.

Interesting that they were acquired. I'm guessing MPA is a pretty reputable company in the rifle world?
Yes. They are well known in the bolt action and PRS world. Their bolt action chassis are very popular.

Competition.
Both sets are labeled "competition" hence my question.
- Grayguns original competition sear springs
- Intermediate competition sear springs
Did you use the original soft competition trigger bar spring as well? Or the snappy reset version.

3) Short pre-travel, light trigger pull (2lbs 4oz)
-Grey guns trigger kit
-Armory Craft trigger
What spring combo did you use in the kit? I've been out of the loop with GG's newly included springs.

Leupold has been replacing the circuit boards in the DPP's with a new version of the circuit board for at least a year. I have 4 DPP's that have been back to Leupold multiple times until the new version of the circuit board was installed. So far I have not had a problem with the new circuit boards. The old circuit board was green and the new version is blue. I would assume that 6MOA version has the new circuit board in it.
Well I'll be damned. I warrantied my green circuit board version for the tape coming undone January 2020. It came back a month later or so with a new green board.
How is the contact held into place on the blue boards? They still using tape?

@021411 I shoot open, so I imagine I’d need the extension. Can you please post a photo of what that looks like if you have a chance? Thanks!
Stand by.. I shoot open as well but my slide is gone right now. Let me get the extension buttoned up.

I looked at Leupold s web site and could not find the announcement. I would also be interested in the new design.

So the 6 MOA flavor was announced today. Anyone with insider info know if they revised the way the battery contact is secured in them? ie not with a piece of “tape”

What makes or breaks over the ear hearing protection is how well they seal around your ears. Thick eye pro temples and even hats can break a good seal.
