Well said sirWell before this is closed let me ad some light to this discussion. Seemed one poster joined Enos just to trash MBX and me. First we took the complaint serious and Adrian took the 3 barrels back from the 3 guys who all were connected somehow. Adrian tested them, videos of 2 test provided. Results were good. So Adrian and I discussed it and I suggested he ask for the gun to test to find out what was going on. They refused. I thought , why? Still don't know except maybe they didn't want Adrian to see and show that the barrel was fine. I just got off the phone with him and he has sold 80 of these barrels with only these 3 complaints. I know one guy said he knew what he was doing and had changed 3 barrels out in the last 2 weeks. So maybe they were just trying a bunch of different ones and returning what they didn't like. Sorry but with the margins in this business I cant eat that loss. And why we don't take back used stuff. I learned a long time ago that some will do things like buy every holster available , try them all and then want to return me used product I cant sell as new. Now Adrian was willing to work with them and resolve it but then the trash talking on here started and the emails to us compared to the talk on here did not match up. He is still working with the 3rd guy. Sent him a complete top end with new barrel to try. He is waiting for responses to that and to get his parts back. This kind of stuff hurts a business and they knew it would. Give us a refund or the trash talk starts. I told Adrian he had to take it head on, I've been down this road before. And why I am here now posting these. But now a perfectly product has been smeared. We just talked about him putting these barrels in his guns exclusively since the results have been great except these 3 guys from the same area. I told him that would be risky given this publicity. Here are the test videos of two of those barrels.

So just my .02 worth. I would buy the mbf and a frankford arsenal vista prime and call it a day. Pick up the Rf100 latter.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ProMy FA primer works extremely well using the Dillon primer tubes (check-out YouTube)

Leave it locked back when not in use for a week or two.
^^^^^^^ This has worked for me as well

AgreedI don't want to be told I "almost" did something. If I did something that equals a DQ, then do it. But if I didn't, then don't say anything to me about it is my personal preference.

I have enjoyed mine as well. No matches shot but, plenty of time working up loads and testing. I'm settling on a 135gr Berry's plated RN running on 3.0gr of e3.

I used Glock OEM and other vendor parts in the LW slides with no fitment or function issues

Ben Stoeger's Skills and Drill's is a solid resource for ideas on dry and live-fire drills. You can buy or make reduced/scale sized targets to fit the space you have available.

You're welcomeThank you very much!! In retrospect, I guess I could have estimated given that the density of aluminum is about 1 and the density of delrin is about 0.49 that as long as the dimensions are the same, it should be about half the weight. The parts themselves are not always the same dimensions though. Thank you.

Aluminum is 3.5oz, Delrin is 1.7oz

I'll weigh mine and tell you how much heavier the Aluminum version is if you care to know

I used to run an 11# recoil spring and 13# hammer spring on mine shooting 170PF loads.

Best practice is always to show a weapon safe before exchanging it with another personI would think that, if that gun were to accidentally discharge while the CRO
is "clearing the gun", it might be argued that HE did something to cause the AD ???
It is incumbent on the shooter to deliver a confirmed unloaded weapon to the
CRO for the chrono procedure.

Thanks for the review!

The TF is heftier than the Mini and, definitely holds the mag body more firmly. The transition area btwn the mag and extension is very clean. Haven't shot with the TF so, no feedback yet. Also, can anyone compare this to the MBX mini extension? Weight, function, etc.?

Out of all the mag extension choices I've personally had the best success with the TF pieces

135g Berry's over e3

I was running Bayou 135g coated RN ar 1.2 and still had inconsistentcy in loading and feeding from extended mags. Changed to Berry's 135g FMJ bullets (slightly longer bullet) and have no more loading or feeding issues. I won't go back to coated bullets at this point.

Atlanta Arms and Freedom Munitions are two well used sources that chrono at Major PFs. Turn around is normally a week or more do check with them before you order.

Another option is Ghost. Their options can be rotated to a number of positions and have "wings" to help keep the mag secureHere.

I've been shooting mine in PCC this season. It's been running well with a Timney Taurus trigger set.

The hammer looks like it's coming into hard contact with the bolt at several points in the cycle. The impact from the firing pin seems pretty consistent. Is there any way the FCG is riding higher than it should be?

Red Hill Tactical are superb holsters. They make custom versions, have standard stocked versions; sell on their site and eBay. https://www.redhilltactical.com/

I noted the step on mine as well. Glad you have resolved your problem!
