So far in 2012 probably 12-15K rounds of 9mm and maybe 1.5K of .45acp and 5.56 combined.

Hmmm. Never thought of this... but why would you convert to SA only vs just use the DA/SA gun in SA mode with safety?
Less pre travel in the trigger is one huge plus. Personally, besides using one to shoot production, I don't why anyone would want a double action CZ.

NGD! (almost)
in CZ
I love mine, it's my favorite CZ. Congrats.

Being from CA, I share your pain.
-
What state do you live in?
-
I was wondering because in CA I know if you owned a high cap in CA prior to 2000, you can keep it. But you cannot manufacture, import, buy or sell them after 2000 in CA.
Also, magazines do not have serial #s.

I like the 75 Shadow vs the SP01 shadow as I prefer the balance over the front end weight on the SP01
-
I promise you, you will never regret buying the shadow. You may however, regret getting the Beretta and not ponying up the extra bucks for a shadow or an 85 combat.

Shot my first match yesterday, and my only regret was not shooting one sooner. Going to join USPSA ASAP. Boy, those acronyms look funny together.

Why do you ask out of curiosity?
-
Shot at my first USPSA match today. Shot way too fast but I had a great time and am definitely hooked.
Shot my 75 Shadow SA in Limited but in future matches will shoot my 75 Shadow in production.

oh sweet is Matt Mink a CZ smith?

That's the show

Hey all,
Just moved to west monroe, Louisiana from Los Angeles to work on a tv show. Since moving I've picked up a CZ 75 Shadow and a 75 Shadow SA.
Looking to shoot my first competition this weekend, either a USPSA comp in winnsboro or an IDPA match at Jerry Miculek's club near Shreveport.
I'm pumped! Bought my first pistol on Jan 1, 2011 and have fallen in love with shooting since. Ended up selling all my pistols (glock 17, XD9, and RIA 9mm 1911) and traded up for a few CZs. Recently snuck in a Ruger 1911 to the collection, but my heart still belongs to CZ.
how much handgun ammo did you shoot last year?

No kids and not married, that seems to help with the shooting funds
