  1. I have compared the CMC to SD3G. They are both about the same and if someone asked me if I can tell the difference between the two, I wouldn't be able to in a blind test.

I use another brand trigger in my 3-gun rifles, but these are definitely toward the top of my trigger choices as I own them.

Interesting. I haven't shot the CMC but I have an SD3G and I imagine it to be VERY different, considering there's no discernable wall/break. It's a rolling break, as in there's some take up and then all of sudden the hammer drops. Can't feel a wall at all. Excellent reset and fast trigger, but I imagine it's VERY different than the CMC single stage which people describe as having a wall a clean break.

Anyone with both care to chime in?

  2. thanks to you beautiful people, i've picked up an M3K in 24" . Bought some MOA goodies: their +6 extension kit, double-headed safety, stainless bolt handle, and oversized bolt release. Looking to shoot my first 3gun later this month.

  3. Well, they're not easy. They're not too hard though.

The trigger pin/spring can be a real pain in the butt. I recommend making a slave pin, which is a life saver. The red straws that come with air compressors are the perfect size, that's what I use as a slave pin.

  4. I've never accidentally engaged it, and my thumb rests on it when I'm shooting so even if I accidentally did, I'd flip it down naturally when I aim because that's where my thumb goes.

Is there enough resistance in your safety? Might need to stretch out your safety detent spring maybe.

  5. I just don't see enough people wanting a division like you described. It sounds an awful lot like regular open, just barely less expensive. And L10 will never disappear. There's too many Californians and other ridic states for it to go away.

I would however like to see a Limited Minor ONLY division. I think a lot of people would be for that.

  6. I'm out of town and don't have my CZs in front of me so I thought I'd ask here.

Do you have to remove the sear cage and trigger bow to swap out the mag release? Or can I get to it without having to take out all that junk. I don't really feel like spending another hour installing the trigger group.

  7. I believe you are correct about the 75 shadow being built from the 75 SA frame.

I can't cite sources but I think I remember this question being asked recently and the answer was you would not be production legal. I am not positive.

  8. Yeah I've seen his accurized CZ97s with the bushings at his shop. He came out with those long before CZCustom started offering the bushing on the shadows.

David is great. Give him a ring.

  9. Maybe I'm missing something, but why would you want both the barrel bushing mod AND the short reset trigger if the barrel bushing takes you out of production ?

If you're going to get a barrel bushing, doesn't it make more sense to just convert to SAO with the CZCUSTOM straight trigger since you'd be stuck shooting limited/open ?
