  1.

I am thinking of getting the LASR app and a SIRT pistol for dry fire practice but I don't shoot Glock or M&P. I would rather have the resetting trigger feature more than using my pistol with a barrel laser that I have to charge the action every shot. So my question is, between the Glock and M&P, does anyone know which of the two more closely resembles the grip angle and feel of the CZs?

    Thanks for your time

  3. if you are like me and carry at least one of every tool you will need (or 3 or 4) the range bag starts to get heavy quick, I already carry a set of hex keys so no reason to add another set of tools to the bag

  4. I have only seen the 10 rd magazines, but as far as the set up goes, I love it. I can't think of more than 2 FTFs which I wrote off to bad ammo, it is far better than the other conversions I have shot in the past as far as reliability and accuracy, I have one for my Glock from Advantage Arms which is almost as good but not quite.

  5. I couldn't decide whether to go with the CZ or the 2011 either. I got the CZ first because it was much cheaper, later I had a chance to buy a 2011. It only took a couple trips to the range for me to realize in my case more money doesn't = more better. I like not having to load long for the 40cal and have always had better luck with the CZ reliability plus they just fit my hand much better. YMMV

  6. just my .02, I bought my first CZ from CZC - a CZ75 Shadow that is just awesome at the time they were roughly $1300, since then I have bought a CZ75 Compact which was box-stock straight from the factory without any work for under $500, If I had it to do over again I am not sure I would buy the Custom model - maybe I am just too ham-fisted to tell the difference but the trigger on the compact is almost as nice as the custom and I am not sure if the difference in price would be worth it to me again, but YMMV

This isn't to say that CZC doesn't do great work, because they do, and I still want to get one of their short reset triggers put on each of mine

  7. or we could start a USPSA-Airsoft like they do in HongKong where they aren't allowed to have guns. i don't think there is gonna be a run on 6mm plastic bb's anytime soon so we won't have to worry about horders or people who have never shot a gun but buy up every component they can find to resale it for 2-3 times the original price

don't worry those that have to shoot only a LimCat or Brazos or Infinity or etc...... are covered. And like with real steel guns you can spend rediculous amounts of money on these too

For those that have to have the "prettiest gun"

Yes, you saw the prices right. There is nothing wrong with your monitor. Unbelievable.

  8. i agree with everything above re: the ease of finding parts to fix/modify the Trubor, BUT....

i have the Czechmate and couldn't be happier and can't find and modifications that it needs, the only thing i am doing to it is adding a thumb rest, it shoots my major loads and minor loads (brass is the only component they have in common) without a problem, minor = 141PF, the best part is that for steel challenge distances my POI doesn't change

    just something to consider

  9. like said above - go with the Bayou Bullets, in my 9mm Shadow most rounds have to be 1.090-1.120, but with the 160 gr Bayou's I can load out to 1.160, the profile of the 160 makes all the difference, but i haven't tried others yet

  10. you might want to check in with them, i ordered 6 140s and an STI Edge within a few days of your order +/-. can't remember the exact date, but i got them a few weeks ago, i might have gotten priority for ordering a gun at the same time (don't know if they do that or not), but if not it sounds like yours might have gotten lost in the shuffle

  11. I have two that I use. One is the Crossbreed Supertuck in horsehide which I usually wear at work with slacks and a button down or with jeans. it is really comfortable.

The other one is a Galco IWB I got from work and when I first saw it I was skeptical to say the least. I just didn't see how the design could work but I gave it a try anyway. I was quickly surprised at how comfortable it was and how well it prevents printing. It is my go-to holster when wearing light weight shorts and a tshirt or any time my shirt is going to be untucked since it is less bulky than the Crossbreed (which really isn't that thick, the Galco is just thinner).

Here is a link to the Galco, since I couldn't find it on the Galco site. I have no affiliation with this company, it is just the first one I found that had a picture of it.

  12. WAC is in stock right now at Powder Valley (1 lb jugs only) if any one is interested. Now if only they would get some HS6, I would be happy. Hopefully this will help those that prefer WAC and were out or getting low.

  13. if you are looking to buy those too, then here is my current load

    TG 2.5 - 2.8 gr

    OAL 1.150

    Bayou Bullet 160 gr

    Fed SPP

    Range brass

2.5 runs it just fine and is what i use for steel, i haven't had a chance to chrono it yet and think it will be under 125 PF but not by much, it will need a little more to make PF, if i get a chance to chrono this weekend i will post the results, a lot of the guys on here have gone to a 9 lb recoil spring too, others like anywhere from an 8 lb-11 lb recoil spring, instead of buying all of them i bought a 9 and 11 and figured i can always fine tune from there if necessary

    hope this helps
