Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Would the barrel insert allow for follow up shots in my CTS & CZECHMATE? Both are single action like your 1911
  2. You can put a couple strips of scotch tape on the cardboard where the painters tape will be in contact to prevent the cardboard from pulling up
  3. I am thinking of getting the LASR app and a SIRT pistol for dry fire practice but I don't shoot Glock or M&P. I would rather have the resetting trigger feature more than using my pistol with a barrel laser that I have to charge the action every shot. So my question is, between the Glock and M&P, does anyone know which of the two more closely resembles the grip angle and feel of the CZs? Thanks for your time

  5. the bayou 147s and 160s are both great and shoot very well
  6. if you are like me and carry at least one of every tool you will need (or 3 or 4) the range bag starts to get heavy quick, I already carry a set of hex keys so no reason to add another set of tools to the bag
  7. my shadow came with the SS rod and it looks like brand new even after 3 years
  8. that would be my best guess too, just get a new one as a backup in case something goes wrong, and take out the dremel, I have found it can be modified into the "poor man's everything tool"
  9. I haven't had any issues with it.
  10. I have only seen the 10 rd magazines, but as far as the set up goes, I love it. I can't think of more than 2 FTFs which I wrote off to bad ammo, it is far better than the other conversions I have shot in the past as far as reliability and accuracy, I have one for my Glock from Advantage Arms which is almost as good but not quite.
  11. I have a 75 shadow, a CTS in 40 and, the CZechmate and find that I am the limiting factor with all three when it comes to accuracy, all three shoot nice tight groups almost effortlessly
  12. I couldn't decide whether to go with the CZ or the 2011 either. I got the CZ first because it was much cheaper, later I had a chance to buy a 2011. It only took a couple trips to the range for me to realize in my case more money doesn't = more better. I like not having to load long for the 40cal and have always had better luck with the CZ reliability plus they just fit my hand much better. YMMV
  13. I'll give another vote for Manny Bragg's futuristic Magnetic holster. It works great for my 75Shadow, CTS, and Czechmate and never feels like it isn't secure.
  14. just my .02, I bought my first CZ from CZC - a CZ75 Shadow that is just awesome at the time they were roughly $1300, since then I have bought a CZ75 Compact which was box-stock straight from the factory without any work for under $500, If I had it to do over again I am not sure I would buy the Custom model - maybe I am just too ham-fisted to tell the difference but the trigger on the compact is almost as nice as the custom and I am not sure if the difference in price would be worth it to me again, but YMMV This isn't to say that CZC doesn't do great work, because they do, and I still want to get one of their short reset triggers put on each of mine
