Folding hand truck sized to carry a large shooters bag. Wheels as large and wide as possible, fold down seat.
I broke the cheap one from Harbor Freight and the better ones are $75-100 from Fastenal and MSC.

Cleaning the gun after a match and notice the rear sight is wobbling. The pivot pin is missing. I don't have a roll pin that small but we have a decent industrial supply nearby. Can't call Tac-Sol until Monday or Tuesday.
Thanks

I use a HS 5" Victor for Steel. They are picky about ammo and the five mags must be tuned to run with whatever ammo you pick. Tight chamber and wax bullet lube can cause issues. I have been told not to let the ammo get too hot as the lube will flow to the low side and cause chambering problems. I finally got all my mags to run with Federal Auto Match ammo and ran a 5 stage match with no issues. My daughter's Ruger 22/45 with TS top end has as many or more issues with reliability.
You can buy a barrel tapped for a mount or someone makes a mount that matches the hole spacing on a Victor. Check the Rimfire Central forum for more info. J Barta has good info on mag tuning.

After 6 years of use I have put a big enough dimple under the primer seating punch to affect the primer seating depth. I remember reading about a fix involving adding a screw or shim to cover the dimple. Does anyone have a fix that you have used or photos to share?
Thanks

At this year's Memphis Charity match there was a stage where the first target was a popper that activated a Polish Plate Rack which was downrange behind a wall. I fired one round at the popper and ran to engage the plate rack which was stationary. I was later ordered to do a re-shoot. I felt that the call for a re-shoot was wrong. Several other shooters had used the same method and we all had to reshoot the stage. I never did hear the justification for the reshoot.

The re-shoot gods were unkind. It took five tries to complete the stage. Hit the popper and a plate would fall off the plate rack; hit one plate and it took another off; shoot six rds. and while reloading a plate would fall, the popper went down but the plate rack did not activate, etc.

After researching how to check endshake I think I have 0.005-.006. I can move the yoke less than 0.005 fore and aft when the cylinder is closed. Smallest feeler gauge I have is 0.005. The two B/C gap measurements are 0.010 and 0.005 so I believe 0.005 is the endshake. Headspace measured without cases is 0.070. Sounds like I have some wear to adjust for. Is the pin rivet something I can drive out and re-use or does it get replaced?
Thanks

Thanks for the replies. Warren, do you happen to know the length of an unworn pin? Mine measures 0.612, rocking the pin up to expose the square back edge. How much play should there be around the rivet? Mine moves 0.026 forward and back because of looseness around the rivet. The protrusion thru the firing pin bushing is 0.047 with the gun pointed up to take up the play. Is that low?
Thanks in advance

Where can I buy an extended firing pin for a K-frame with the hammer mounted pin? Or is it time to visit the friendly machine magician?
Thanks

Go talk to your friends who reload and ask to try out their press. You will be able to try and decide prior to buying, and get the right press for you.

I run 100-150 of .45. I try for the same amount of .38 and 9mm. I have tightened the drive plate once. If I load 200 plus it will slip.

I run a P14 in Limited with 18 rds using Dawson extensions. You are giving up two-three rds. of capacity to the .40 cal guns. If you can live with that go for it. Mine has the PXT extractor and runs great. The PXT in .40 is not as reliable as the .45. Para mags with 18 rds are reloadable.
I went with a .45 versus a .40 for the same reasons you listed. It is a handicap on a 20-22 rd stage versus a .40.

Great match Sam. Great time shooting with squad 11, except for the way I shot. Thanks to the staff, RO Ric, and all the sponsors.
How much did we raise?
Sam, can you detail the speedloader division?
Thanks

Your opinion of the product is different than mine. I've used one on three pistol calibers for the past five years. It works for me as I stated earlier. Your telling me I haven't used one without knowing what I do or seeing my press is wrong. I have also used the Dillon on a borrowed press. As you stated the adjustment of the lockout die can be biased to lock at the upper or lower end of the charge. I set mine to lock on a slight overcharge and accept that it will pass an undercharge as I believe this is safer for running a close to max charge. My weighing of charges that the lockout die passed showed a variation on a setting of 3.2 gr of Clays up to 3.3 and down to 2.8.
I also bought mine on the theory that no battery to die and render the alarm useless was a good thing. Doesn't change my opinion that it is less sensitive to variation than the Dillon.
So far as running it "loose" when mine locks I just pull up on the exposed top of the rod to unlock it.

Who else is doing "speedloader"?

App in the mail today. Is anyone organizing a match shirt? I'd like another Techwear with a revo logo.

The RCBS unit will keep you from double charging or no charging a case but you can get large variations without it activating. It is not as sensitive as the Dillon sensor. I would recommend the Dillon unit instead.
