I have nitro fins from shooting sports innovations on both of my open guns and really like them. They are a slide stop replacement so super easy to use and can be moved from pistol to pistol.

I really like the profile of sti ambi safeties. I experienced the same as you with the wilsons but that has a lot to do with my hand geometry.

Thank you, chad, mike, Cary and Greg for putting on a fantastic match. It was top notch.
-
Good job aircooled! You are right about never being too old!

Congrats!! What part of Texas did this match take place?

Another tremendous talent gone too soon. RIP.

There are ways to tighten it up but just put a little extra slide glide on and it take out that rattle for a while?

put in a Hyperfire 3.5 and it seems to be running great. I am having some issues if i load the Glock magazines to 32 rounds , it slams the first 3 rounds into the side by the barrel, after that it runs good , does it with all the 32 round glocks ,but not with the cheap see thru plastic or the 16 round glocks . Ideas ?
What bullet and what profile are you using. My psa doesn’t care for truncated, coated bullets with high cap mags.

Sounds like brass from a factory glock barrel. Most glock pistols are unsupported at the ramp area which causes the guppy brass or glock bulge. If the primer has a rectangular raised area by the indent from the firing pin it has been fired from a glock pistol. I'm assuming the brass was bulged on one side. If not then disregard.

S&W 686, I believe they are using open for now on classifier calc to get pcc percentages.

I saw him in concert twice. A great performer. RIP

Glock Gen 5

And at least an attempt at better sights and stippling.

Taccom ulw pcc barrels are light, fast, and accurate. I keep coming back to them from heavier setups.
-
I know it will help transition times. I ran a light pcc for half a steel challenge and a heavy one for the other half. No comparison. The light was way quicker for me. Since a lot of time can be saved or spent on transitions and getting on target faster I prefer a light rifle.

I use the extra long zigracker on the left side with a 90 degree mount. Makes a nice kickstand too.

Why?
You can do it if you use a spacer otherwise you will receive damage to your lower from the gas key slammming into it.

You may already know this but I couldn't really tell for sure from your post. Be sure to use a rifle buffer and spring with a rifle buffer tube and a carbine buffer and spring in a carbine tube. Do not use a carbine buffer in a rifle buffer tube.

Uh,,,hello?

Happy birthday!

I agree. A really good read. Most of it seems intuitive.

I shoot slugs through an ic all the time. It's fine.

I have 9 extra primer tubes and a vibra prime. I turn on the scale and let it warm up while I load tubes, feed mr bullet feeder, pour powder, and fill the case feeder. 1000 rounds goes pretty quick so sometimes I just keep going. It's just nice knowing I wont have to load for a week or two.

Flat or curved trigger

The short curved works for my hand geometry. Puts my finger in a position to get a straight pull back with 1911/2011.
