This era of a5 takes 2&1/2 inch shells. 2&3/4 inch are too long.

APW is a great company! I’ve had several jobs done by APW. Every one came out great. The owner of the company called me personally to discuss the options and was just a genuinely good person. He was also a competitor so he understood what I wanted.

I bought a mk3 22/44 lite used from a “friend” who said it was ammo finicky. I found out later that ammo finicky means it doesn’t like any kind of ammo. I went through all the fixes, extractor,mags,chamber…no good. I finally bought a volquartzen competition bolt and have never had another problem with extraction again.

I hear you. I hate losing a primers so badly I’ll spend 20 minutes crawling around on the floor Looking for one if drop it. I’ve even started swaging every case! Yuk!

I had LASIK and achieved 20/10 vision but wrecked my near vision. Thinking of having the lense replacement procedure so I can focus on the front sight again. Red dots are perfect with the LASIK.
