  1. No cleaning, no keeping. Stage is not complete until the chickens are no longer able to be identified as chickens. RO will have a can of chicken noodle soup, if any pieces are left on the stage that are bigger than any of the pieces of meat in the can, you are looking at hefty procedurals and penalties.
  2. Ryan, IF I were to come, there is no way you'd be winning your $20 back. I am unemployed, and all I do is sit around all day and shoot now. I spent half of my savings buying chickens to practice for that one stage, and the other half on a vent rib barrel with a ballistic drop compensation system good to 500yds.
  3. Slug stage, 25-30 slugs, bonus rifle targets in the far woodline at 833yds. Slug targets 200-500yds. Yes, slugs will go that far. When you fire you may have to jump up and forward, and thrust your shoulder into the shot a little, but it is feasible.
  4. The last thing I did before I left was move all of the rifle targets to at least 550yds, and the bonus ones at about 800yds. I felt like if you can't hit a target at 1/2 mile, you don't deserve a bonus...
  5. Due to some differences of opinion with higher directors at AIM, I am no longer working there or associated with the TF Dagger Match. Jeremy Miller plans to carry on with the match, so please direct all questions/concerns to him. jmiller@aimacademyga.com

  7. 8:30am Shooters Meeting, Match Start immediately after. Squads, timeline, and additional info posting this weekend.
  8. Jimmy, we will have those. The tgts I was talking about in the zero range are just for people to confirm zero when they get into town. There won't be any 2" tgts at 200 during the match, I don't want to have to pick up your brass pile.
  9. Yes, will have paper and steel at 100 and 200yds. Steel IPSCs on the zero range will have 2" hostage swingers next to the heads for you to shoot back and forth to get confident with your zero.
  10. By the way, please don't let the scale of targets in the stage diagrams mislead you. I wanted to them big enough to see on the diagram, so no....those are not 30" Flashers at 40yds! (more like 8-10" Flashers at apprx 200-325yds)
  11. Throughout the day, I will post stages for the TF Dagger Championship in this thread. All will be posted by the end of the day. We will also post on the AIM website. As the stages post, please respond if you have any questions, other people may have the same question. My Powerpoint skills aren't anything special, so if there is a typo or something is not made clear, please let me know. I will not try to give exact distances to targets, but I will give a general idea of max distance for the respective stage. We will not be taking anymore registrations after this weekend, so please get them into me if you have been putting it off. There are a few slots left for Sunday, and apprx 20 left for Saturday. Squads will be posted along with cabin and cart breakdown NLT next Monday. Thanks again everyone. Things are coming along well here at AIM, and it is going to be a great match.
  12. Yes, a 200yd bay with some steel will be avail for confirming zero.
  13. Round count was on press release attached earlier in the thread. Appr 175 rifle, 175 pistol, 80 bird, 10 slug. Stages will be posted within the next 3 days. Longest rifle shot on 10" flasher, 325yds. Lots of rifle shooting on steel at 200-300 yds (A/C size steel, flashers, plate rack(150yd), etc).
  14. Cabins are sold out at this point! I apologize if you have an app in the mail with a cabin request. Days Inn in Blakely, GA is 4 miles away from the facility. It's an older Days Inn, but they should have plenty of rooms. Also, this week we have some more sponsors on board for the match. C3 Defense, Stag Arms, Kel-Tec, Montana Gold, Atlanta Arms, and JAB's Extreme Steel Targets. Looks like it's turning out to be a good prize table with everything from guns to ammo, and don't forget about the cash payback. I am starting to piece together squads, so now is the time to get a hold of me if you are on the fence about this match. I will do what I can to get you squadded according to your preferences, but after this week I will simply have to start plugging names in open squads if entries continue to arrive. Stages will be posted by this weekend. More to follow, I look forward to seeing everyone out here!
  15. There is an airport in Dothan, AL and in Columbus, GA. I wouldn't call those major, so let me know if you can't find reasonably priced flights into there. ATL is about 175 miles north of here.
  16. I have received a few inquires about RO's. If you volunteer to RO on the day you are not shooting, you will receive half off your entry fee, and get a bunk at no cost. If you have already registered and wish to RO, let me know and I will refund that portion of the entry fee when you show up for registration. First come, first serve for RO requirements. Once we have the numbers we need, plus some back-ups, I will post on here. Please let me know your RO experience if interested.
  17. The prize table will be order of finish as per division and special category. You can choose someone to be present to collect for you, or give me a preferance list and I can ship the item.
  18. Good question:) Yes, we will allow anyone that has officially retired form the military or been honorably discharged due to service related injury/dissability to enter as military. The same will go for retired or dissabled law enforcement personnel. Thanks for bringing that up, sorry for not noting that before.
