Thanks everyone, I think that I was not getting consistent pressure at the top of the stroke. I will work on this when I reload more. Thanks again

I posted this in the 9mm forum but thought I should have posted here so here goes. I loaded a few rds to test in my 9mm's today. This was my first time loading on my new 650 and I had a few problems. I got most everything worked out but I am still having problems with high primers. I will run a few and they will be fine and then get one seated high. Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks and sorry for the double post

Loaded for the first time on my 650 today. I loaded a few rds with 3.6gn of v320 and a few with 3.8gr with 124gr fmj pd bullits to try in my 9mm glocks. all went well except primer seating. I had several high primers and really don't know why. This is my first time loading on a progressive so I think it might be just a learning curve that I will have to work through. Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thank's

Well I just got my powder from Powder Valley and they shipped the wrong powder. I ordered v320 and got v350 so no loading tonight. I will call tomorrow and find out what went wrong.

I I have my dies set up for 1.35 oal
Doyle, you should check that 1.135 (I presume you meant
1.135, not 1.35) will fit thru your mags and chamber, before
you load too many of them. Those fit in my gun, but won't
fit in all guns - little on the long side.
Thanks Jack, Thank God that I shoot better than I type. Yes it 1.135 I have checked them in my barrel's and mags and that oal seems fine. I don't think I could seat these bullets long enough to not fit my Glock barrels. LOL
Thanks again

Thanks Braxton, I will try this load. I do have WSF,231,power pistol and unique that I will also try. I have read such good reviews on the 320 that I wanted to try it first. Thanks again for the help.

I am just getting back into reloading after many years and need a little help. I will be loading pd 124 fmj with v320 for now and need to find a good starting load. These will be for my Glock's and I am just looking for nice range and possibly GSSF ammo so I don't need to make pf. Nether of my manual's list v320 data but I have found data on the vita site and also on different forums but I am just not sure where to start. I will be shooting these in my g17 and g17l and am just looking for a nice load for the range. Thanks
P.S. I think that I have read every thread on loads in this forum but just need a little more help. I have my dies set up for 1.135 oal and .377 crimp if that helps.

Are you still USPSA Production legal if you remove the finger grooves? Thought that was an external mod that changed the profile.
NO, it puts you into Limited
Just got my Classic Grand Master put in my G17 and love it so much that I ordered another one for my new G17L. Great trigger

Thanks for the info, I just ordered the same trigger. I also made my decision after talking to Charley. He answered all my questions and I enjoyed talking with him.

I have never changed anything on any of my Glock's but sights and slide release so I decided to start now. I just received my DP sights { black adj rear and .100 fiber front } for my g17 rtf2 so I ordered a Vanek Classic grand master with the Jager firing pin. After talking with Mr Vanek I decided to give it a try. I have shot Glock's with just a 3.5 connector and didn't like the feel so I always just left them stock so I am hoping I like this trigger. This will just be for range and informal plate shoots for now so wish me luck. If anyone has this trigger let me know how you like it.
Thanks

I have been spending a lot of time on his site lately my self. All my Glock's have std trigger's and I want to try something new. I have been looking at Zev also but have no idea what to buy. I just want a very good trigger for range and informal plate match's. Congrats on the new trigger.

Glad to help.
What kind of press are you loading on?
I load on a Dillon 550 and want to upgrade to a 650, but anyway, when I work up loads I usually weigh each charge by hand. I'll load 3 rounds at each powder weight I want to try, chrono and average them. I feel like this gives me a good idea of what each charge is going to give me. The Dillon powder measure can be difficult to dial into a specific weight and even more of a pain to adjust 5-6 times for different weights. Some people might say 3 rounds isn't significant enough, and to load 10, but I hate weighing charges and setting the powder measure so I go with the least amount of work and have always had results I can use.
Thanks Greg, I got a 650. I will start loading different charges this weekend and try them next week. I have not been able to shoot much this year but am now free to shoot anytime I want. I shot 200 rd of 9mm today and scrounged all my brass. I am a happy man. Do my oal and crimp numbers look ok? They fit my case gauge and passed the plunk test.
Thanks again

Thanks Greg, I set my dies for the 124gr rn to 1.30 oal and .380 crimp. Now I just need to set my powder measure and start working up a load. After I get this worked out I will try the 135's.
Thanks again

I am setting up my new dillon and need some help. I will be using w231 with Berry's 124 rn plated and x-Treme 135 rnfp plated bullets. Can anyone give me a starting load and oal? If I understand you use lead loads for plated and between my two manual's I can't find oal or anything for the 135. Thanks
P.s this is my first time loading pistol and my Glock's need feeding
