Ok. How does choke choice affect slugs?

I just bought a vinci.....no sights like my SLP. Any suggestions for choosing which drop to tty and what choke results i should expect?

It seems to be shooting slugs high using the IC.

i got a certificate for nodic from my friend.....so i ordered the nordic set up.

i appreciate all the info. i will post pics when it arrives. (i know i know you all know what they look like....). they said the tubes will be back in stock in about 2 weeks or so.

I'm using 147 grain Xtreme bullets - PF is 128 with factory spring / Glock 34 Gen 4. I have no problems with my pistol failing to cycle...I reload my own ammo, clean my pistol once week, after 1,000 rds or so of firing...

I suggest that you get a representative case and cut a window in the bottom so you can see what is going on. As in the photo.

There is a wide amount of adjustment where the swag rod merely has to pass the crimp area.

I cut my windows with a milling machine. You can use a dremel, hack saw, or a grinder.

i am using extreme 147 and berry's 147. both are giving me great results.

i know i know. "they" say dont do it.....BUT i got some 15-16 brinell, 124gr i wanna try in my factory glock barrel (i know i know).

i plan to keep em below 950fps. can i shoot em and then check for leading? if i see no leading am i good to go? from what i understand it is a lead build up that causes problems. if there is no lead build up am i gtg?

please let me know of your EXPERIENCE with shooting lead in a factory glock barrel. please let me know your hardness, load data, and utcome. did it go kaboom? does it work well? looking for real world outcomes.

[Support index finger in front of trigger guard?]

after 25 years using a 45 acp 1911 i switched to a 9mm glock.

i started with my same grip, but i have found that using my support index finger on the front of the trigger guard has helped me with the glock.

some say do it, others say dont. but it is working for me. helps pull the gun down a bit and keeps it on target better. YMMV

Hey all

What are your experiences been with the mag tube extensions? Roth? Nordic? Lancer?

Are the one piece Roth tubes the way to go? Are they any better than the Nordic? I like the nordic idea of being able to change the tubes (like for andy's matches), do the feed okay over the two piece design?

How about the lancers? Anyone try them? They are less expensive. How do the attach? Do the work well?
