i use 25.0 of 748.
the books show up to 26.3 for 3150 fps.
it is one of my favorite powders.

easier to get at this point.

they gonna need a search warrant to get the takedown pins out of my rifle
im gonna go with a 16 bolt for my ar15 build.

I know there are no laws forbidding it in texas, but what does the ATF say about installing a M16 bolt carrier in an AR 15 rifle?
someone told me the possession of merely 1 M16 part showed the intent to produce a machine gun and it was a federal offense.
anyone know otherwise?

try 2.5 clays and the 200 grain bullet.
be careful because i believe the HK pistol uses polygonal rifling and those sometimes dont like coated-non-jacketed bullets

for plinking, what would be wrong with GI 147 FMJs
-
147 berry over 3.5-3.7 win231.

i shot some 55s over 25.0 of a 2230 in a 24 inch bull barreled DPMS ar15 for just over 3200 fps.
winchester brass and primers. 2.250 oal i wouldnt go any hotter with this powder.
-
i loaded it in my glock 22 with factory barrel and ranier 180 jhp at 1.150 (too long for high caps but this was during the AWB) under 5.0 grains and federal 200 primer for 176 power factor....
it was a top load though.. flat primer
-
the stuff i shot must have just been short of major....like the 160 power factor minor ammo.
it wasnt bad, but not as nice as 3.5 CLays and a 180 FMJ at 1.135 oal.

i had better results with WST with data from the laser cast manual adjusted to make major instead of 200pf.

bullet fit is more important than hardness in the 45.
ive shot plain dead soft lead in my 45s without problems.
shoot WST with lead and it smokes WAY less than CLAYS and you dont give up any softness.

they are not cast, but dave is a good guy. precisionbullets.com

tried 8 grains of blue dot with the 155 cast swc at 1.125 oal. loud, but pretty flat..no chrono info yet but i anticipate over 175 pf.

only downfall to HS6 is it is dirty. WSF or Autocomp may actually be better powders.
4756 and 135s feel good, but burns a lot of powder.
I am shooting a glock and i can deal with a little extra powder residue.
ill post a pic of my gun when my wife figures out camera batteries last longer when you don't leave the camera on.

ive seen more and more people NOT helping at matches.
i am not for assigning duties, but if you want to shoot, you need to help.
-
no luck,
Have you got your gun working yet?
ill post a pic of my jager comped Glock 22 with a bushnell copy of the Aimpoint micro tomorrow nite.
Digital camera needs new batteries.
ive had really good luck with 155 grain LEAD bullets and HS6...but testing continues.

it is the same as w231. and they are very accurate in 9mm, 40 and 45

they TF require only 1 screw to be removed for cleaning.
i get 19/20 in all of my 140s using dawson and TF
and 24/25 in my big stick.
-
i have a storm lake g21 barrel and 4.0 more than makes major.

im gonna have to try the HS6 with 135 jacketed, 155 JHP, 140 LFP and even a 180 or two.
i also plan on trying aa7 and the lead 155.

im running a 16 inch.
the other side is when the gun get dirty the extra weight will help the bolt go "home"
