Is there much of a difference between the beavertail angles on the 75B SA and the SP-01? From studying the photos at both CZ Custom and CZ-USA they seem to be identical. I want the upswept version.

Place Name USPSA Class Points Penalty Time Hit Factor Stg Pts Stage Percent
10 Gerard S C 35 40 0.00 0.0000 0.0000 0.00%
Placed last out of 15. Not so good. But I showed those white targets a thing or two.
At least I was 6th overall in Production.
[EDIT: format is screwy but that is 35 points and 40 penalties.]

Yeah, they have a trade in where you send yours in, they replace the belt and send back a new one with your old buckle. I don't recall the cost, but it's not free. Good deal if you have the titanium buckle. That's the largest portion of the overall cost of the belt.
Dang. I'm glad I read this thread. I wore out my belt and will have to look into this. I ended up getting a copy by 5.11 that I do not like as much.

Spend $400-$450 on a stock SP-01.
I presume you mean to wait for a used one to come up for sale? CZ Custom lists them at about $570 new.

Thanks for the word. Stock SP-01 is now the plan.

Order up a 75 Shadow with a full race trigger job.
No.
What of a 75 SA versus the SP-01? Thoughts?

I've been planning on getting a 75B or 75 SA but with all the discussion and praise of the SP-01 I am thinking of saving money a while longer to buy an SP. What are the distinct advantages of the SP over the 75B? The extra weight at the muzzle end seems to be the only thing. This would be a range and (occasional) competition gun.
Is the trigger smoother?
Is the SP worth the extra $100 or should I get a 75B and spend the extra on ammo and holster?
Or, buy a 75B get a trigger job from CZ Custom?
CZ-USA website says the SP-01 is just a larger P-01. I already have a PCR, if I wanted a larger PCR I could just buy the 75BD.

I've had my eye on a 75 SA but I'm getting confused on what divisions the pistol lands in. The SAO is NOT allowed in Production but is for Limited?
I'd rather stay with 9mm but if I have to shoot Limited it seems silly not to buy the .40 SAO.

I live East of Madison. Sun Prairie has a new Gander Mountain with a large indoor range. I have not shot there and do not know their rules.
Deerfield Pistol deerfieldpistol.com is not far and has a basement range with five shooting spots.
Hello people, my wife and I are visiting her parents in Madison, WI April 2nd - 4th. The next weekend is the Battle in the Bluegrass. I really need some trigger time on either the 3rd or 4th. Not just shooting, but drawing from a holster. Is there a range anywhere close that I can use? I checked the USPSA web site, and all the close ones looked like Skeet and Trap only.

I did better shooting my CZ than by throwing rocks. I have been dry-firing one-handed after my last qualifier but have been unable to do any live fire practice.
