Did you try turning the focus ring? Not the zoom ring.

Yes, like I said up at 4 power and up it will not focus for me, one of the guys I shoot with didn't notice the focus being as bad as I do, he has glasses I don't, may not have anything to do with it but?

If you go to Atlas Gunworks or their facebook page, Adam has done a real good tutorial on how to tune 2011 mags. I bought the Dawson kit which also had a video with it.  Both are very good starting points to use.

He has a good video on you tube also.

I have run thousands of 135grn Blue Bullets over 3.2gn of TG with a 130 PF with really good results. Running a G34 with stock barrel.

I've been running 3.4 for a 132 PF, what C.O.L. are you running? And after a year are you still happy with this load?

  4. Started with production this year but switched from a G19 to a G34 if that counts. I made a goal for this year, when I quite shoot 12 years ago I was B open, so I making B in production with my ccw gun and holster was my goal. Now that that's done it time to play a little. The rest of this year I'll be switching around and find whats fun to shoot for next seasons goal A class in ?

on a more serious note I recommend to enter limited your first few matches, even if you are shooting a 9mm with regular (15-17 round) magazines. its just less to think about and lets you learn the game, then once you see all the other shooters in the other divisions you will have a better idea what division interests you the most and what gear you may want to use.

    This!

All good advice, get a match or two under you belt, then after your hooked shoot what makes you happy. I have an old limited gun and an old open gun, but I shoot a glock 19 in production, all though I did just pick up a g34, why? It's fun and a some point you have to learn mag changes and stage planning anyway.

  6. All of them are good, get a sample bag of a few and test. For me I found the Blue 135tc felt just right, and was more accurate in my gun then 147 blues and bayous, and for some dumb reason run smoother in the reloading press.

  7. What powder measure do you use, I just picked up a pound of AR comp and a pound of IMR 8208xbr to try out. I load on a S1050 and you are right about H335 being messy, W748 is also. From what I have read AR comp is working better with heavy bullet, not that it wouldn't be fine with 55's.

  8. Swap the 1050 over to 45, load a couple thousand rounds, swap back to 9mm and do the same. I ordered my 1050 in 9mm and the large primer conversion plus a spare tool head, after changing over to 45 the first time I can not believe that for 12 years I loaded 45 on my 550, not that I don't love my old 550 but holly smokes, the 1050 and 45 are made for each other.
