The G20 is the sleeper Limited gun.
Why a 10mm?
For the same PF, won't it shoot about the same as a .40?
And brass is really tough to find!
--Confused--
But you could change the barrel to a 40 S&W and shoot it. Been a few people here that have done that. I guess it is due to them have larger hands and it reduces recoil some? That is my guess, but it has been so long that I shot anything I forget how to load the dang thing.

Alaska
That would be my suggestion, but he only wants the lower 48. Don't know why he hating on upper 2. My wife & I went there in 2001 and we still talk about it like it was last month.

Fishing is GREAT there. In August, for tons of fun, sand sharks are real easy to catch. Grouper and Snapper just off the coast with Mahi Mahi and Kings thrown in the bag will keep you busy as well. We went fishing this passed Sunday and caught 13 fish that easily went over 100 lbs total. One Grouper that was over 20 lbs by itself. And the beaches of the "forgotten coast" are pretty amazing too. The best restaurant in the pan handle area is only about 25 minutes away. It's not overly expensive and it's built out over the water, makes for an excellent dining experience.
Thanks for the report. What was the name of the restaurant and where at? Did you go out on a boat or fish from the shore?

Hey gang, I'm heading to St. George Island, Fla in August with the family and In-Laws for a week and just checking for any suggestions of places to see, eating places and what not. Places to avoid, maybe?
Thanks in advance,

I am looking for anyone that is a Gold Member on Classmates.com
I am searching for an old school friend and have found her brother. I can't send a message to him without being a paid member. So, if anyone here is a paid member of classmates.com, and wouldn't mind sending a message for me, please let me know.
Thanks,
ETA: I have already tried Facebook & MySpace websites with no luck.

Well, I am one of those shooters that has had to hang it up. Taking a huge paycut for a new, but stable, job really hurt. I used to shoot 2-3 matches a month and the State and Area match every year. I haven't shot a match in over a year now due to cost of ammo & match fees. If there was a Prov. Division for Rimfire, then maybe I could venture out once a month or so and shoot a match and not have to decide if I should buy ammo or food & diapers for my kids. I answered Gary's questions below in red print. That is my opinion and like others, will vary to others. I do think the idea should be studied a little more. Seems like there is a small demand for it and it could grow more as it has more light shed on it. I mean, who thought that Lim-10, Revolver and Single Stack would have grown like they did. When I started shooting USPSA, there was only 2 Divisions, now there are 6 divs. I don't think it would be able to grow without the support and backing of USPSA.
Getting back to the original question, I received a call from one of my constituent's today about the idea of a rimfire division. While I think it is much like spitting into the wind, the results won't be pretty, let's explore the idea a bit. Some initial stumbling blocks I see:
1. Having went through the new division battle for Single Stack, I can assure you there will be screams, tears, and immediate resistance to the idea. Yep, sure will be. But they will get over it just like they did for Lim-10, Production, Revolver and S. Stack.
2. Assuming, just for fun and giggles, that it was adopted, how would it work? Steel is an intricate part of our sport and presents a problem for rimfire. Would it just be called as hit, how would it work? It would be called a hit. Rimfire would be scored at 1/2 value of what Minor is scored.
3. I guess the rimfire division would shoot with all other divisions at the same time on the same stages. Do we just go with paper? See #2 above.
4. Does this open the door for "someone" to say you don't need centerfire guns anymore because you have shown and sanctioned rimfire as sufficient to compete with? Getting the camels nose out of the tent is a lot harder than it seems. Not being political, but the saying of "stroke of the pen-law of the land" is true. People will shoot what they have available to them or what they desire. (I hope that made sense.)
5. Would it actually increase membership, or just further dilute the pool of participants? I think it will bring more JR & Lady shooters to the sport. Also those that can not handle the recoil of centerfire firearms due to a physical limitaion can start or even come back to the sport.
6. How would it figure into our current classification system? See #2 Above for scoring and I don't think the scores should be put into the regular classification system.
Just a few thoughts off the top of my head that should be fleshed out now.
I believe this ammo price, component shortage issue will pass in due time. It will be painful in the short run, but if things settle down in a small area near Virginia and Maryland, panic should subside and things will return to some state of normalcy, whatever that might be. Much like gasoline, will it fall to where it was, probably not. However, it should be subtantially better than it is now.

Congrats to you matt. It will change your life one way or another.

In the deep south we have a saying. Rude children are the product of they mama's not beatin that a$$ enough when they are little!!!!! :D
That is exactly what I was thinking. My wife thinks that I am too strict with our two young boys, but I want them to grow up as good people and respect others. She feels that they are too young for that type of decipline but I feel that you are never too young to start.
It really grates on my nerves when I go through a drive-through or even when I go into a store and purchase something and the cashier just hands me my receipt and either stares at me with a blank look or walks away from me without saying anything. I usually say in a loud and clear voice "Your welcome!" as a reminder that they may have missed something, like I just spent my money in their business, helping to pay their salary.
Gary, thank you Sir for starting this and hopefully we all can prevent each other from beating some rude a$$ senseless.

I have found that wearing cleats work pretty good there. Also bring an extra pair as it has been known to rain just a little during the match.

One thing I have found for the blackberry is a free music program. It is www.slacker.com. Kinda like XM radio but free. Check it out BB users!

I saw a video from 2009 SHOT that Tac Solutions had one in the works. Google tactile solutions and it is one of those videos. It has their president telling what is coming up soon.

My wife & I just upgraded to the Storm through Verizon this past Friday. They have a special right now of buy 1 BB get 1 BB free. So we paid $225 out the door for 2 Storms, 2 hard shell protectors, a pack of screen protectors and a belt case. Still trying to figure everything out with it. Was told it would take a month or two to truely master it.
How do you like the Storm's "keyboard"?
FM
It's taking some getting used to. You really have to use both hands to type w/ it. It expects your fingers to come in at a certain angle and if it doesn't, you get a different letter. It uses a heat sensitive sensor along w/ the touch screen to select items, or atleast that is how the tech told me how it works.
I am probably wrong, but I thought there were actual buttons underneath the screen?
FM
From what I was told by the tech, the screen is one huge button. It's kinda weird, but I'm starting to like it more everyday.

So where are you staying at down there? My wife & I have been down there quite a few times over the past 10 years and hope to make it back down there this summer.
Enjoy Spring Break while your down there!
I guess I was wrong. It is Cancun - the Moon Palace. We go every single year and generally stay at different places. ANd normally we go further south (or over to Kozumel) but we stayed at the Moon a year or two ago and it was nice.
They all look the same from 80' below
Looking forward to this trip. We also just got hit with ice. Couple of inches. No a huge deal but a bit of a pain.
Jack
Yeah, the Moon Palace is where we stayed twice. Very nice. Have a great one and give an after vacation report on the place and everything when you get back.

At the expense and rarity of components , that would be a hard one to choke down. At least to me.
