I think they only get grumpy when they get these kind of questions/callers:
No sir, I do not think you are an idiot. Soon as you opened your mouth I no longer need to guess.

I have to say HONESTLY....out of ANY company I have worked with in YEARS....DILLON has been the BEST.
Yes, the guys on the phone are not very "gabby"...and I appreciate that because they are professional and know what they are doing, and they
know that behind your phone call is another guy or gal waiting to be helped....so they get down to business quickly.
Wish more companies were like Dillon.
BIG+1 on that comment.

I don't care about the 55yr olds, it's the 60s I want to keep out !!!
Hummmm, I am 69 and your worried about 60 How is that working out for you.

After a little bit of testing I'm liking the apeiro more. I think the DVC looks better though. They are neck in neck in performance.

I disagree! The Apeiro is much better looking!

As bent at that thin metal strip is, I would contact Dillon, ask them to send you a new one. They most likely will not charge you. That s great customer service.
When you get it put it on and throw the other on away.

They offer a 10% discount for Enos members. If you can't get the discount code to work just call. benos10 goes in the discount block on checkout.
As an aside, I am not interested in who can make the cheapest bullets. Why would I pay $3500.00 for a gun and not bat an eye and then pursue only the cheapest bullets I can find to shoot? I have never quite understood this thinking. Does cheap make them somehow better? It's the same with powder and brass, does cheap make them better or do you get what you pay for? Sometimes "cheap" is too expensive.
There is an old saying. Penny Wise... / ....Pound Poor
Like the folks that will drive 30 min to fill up with gas that 2 cents per gal cheaper. Huh !

We had a rash of packages being stolen off front porches in the area. You would think UPS would want to avoid that and all the angry customer calls and would just give a quick knock or doorbell ring.
Well, I will tell you this much. Around here, if I dont get to the package first.... then many times I dont get it at all. This is a never ending battle. And the BS you get when you complain or file a claim. Crazy ! Guess lost merchandise, or stolen as the case is just is part of their operating cost and recovered in the freight charges.

Jedi,
If you get tired of that inaccurate Apeiro, I would gladly take her off you hands. Just saying....

I bought 4 ea. of the 9mm 140's and 4 of the 40cal 140's for my limited and open STI. Now first of being a Texan, I do support STI buut these maagzines are top shelf. They give the proformance we expect from a $130.00 mag. You well me more then happy with them. They do break in and spring tension sets for the advertised round count.
Get Some !

I had a chain fire on my 1050 Dillon was the very best at getting me back loading. My wife is still cussing me over the laundry that followed.

Well I have the dvc and apeiro now. So it will be interesting comparing the two. They both will be pretty much stock. Although I have a Dawson tooless guiderod and 11lb recoil spring on the apeiro.

I bought the 40 Aperio, Now it does not have the slide cut or a couple of other cosmedics the DVC has, But I think its the best gun A-Z STI makes, My trigger is 2.5 # is is as light and smooth as I want it. I have the Dawson toolless rod, an SVI trigger and fire group, and its never failed.
-
You will need some good mags, the STI 140mm mafs will come with STI's shitty follower and based pad. Just order the Dawson pads and Grams guts for those two mags that come with the gun.
Then either buy a 4 pack from Brazos, or go wit the MBX mags.
+1 on BMX They work great.

Rick will bust his butt to help you should you have any problem. CED and Double Alpha are ok, but Rick invented it, know it inside and out has all parts, and could tell you what part you need. He will be about the same price as anyone else. Best thing, it what comes after the sale.
Go For It !

no worries about sharks circling, I actually posted my 6" 2011 and Open M&P for sale last night. Check the classifieds. I found out I'm not allowed to sell my shotgun or rifle because that same special lady likes shooting clays with a 3 gun shotty and playing sniper with the gas gun. hahaha, I'm totally OK with that, too
Bring your sharks out to DPC, we can use some help with flood and they would have a place to swim.

use the guys at Gunsmoke Guns...available thru American Gun and Discovery Channel....i've never heard of any of them, and THEY say they're the best!!!!

Well I load just for me, and these are much better built and much stronger. To me its like the difference between a gun and a parachute, If your in real need of one, and dont have it. Most likely you wont need one later.

I load on a Dillon Super 1050
Fully automatic, and I like to run at least 1,000 for each caliber 9mm & .40 S&W. My loader does 950 rounds per hour so with primer fills, and additional brass in the case feeder i spend 1 1/2 hr.
Depending on shells on hand I might just load 1 K in each shell.

Best place to buy MBX Mags
in 1911-style Pistols

I have their mags for 9mm and 40 S&W I have used them since they came out and can nothing but good to say about them. They are expensive, hell yes but so is my pistols. They are worth the money, well built, fit and run the way they should. During a match 5 or 6 dollars per mag will never be missed when everything functions as it should. We need to look at penny wise and dollar poor.
