I just received a ComforTech stock as a replacement for the standard (American) stock on the Benelli M2. Having seen the insides of both now, I am wondering how the ComforTech can possibly reduce perceived recoil. Both stocks are hollow plastic -- the ComforTech just seems to have little "laces" milled out of the plastic stock, then rubber inserts put in. Does this really make a difference?
Here are spics of the ComforTech stock -- is this really all there is to it?
