  1. Nice videos.

Sparked my curiousness, so I started looking around the net for the open guns some of the guys are using. I didnt find any. Any links? Or groups already having fun with these air soft matches. Are they using plastic or lead pellets. My kids are interested and me too. Something to keep the three of us busy this winter in our basement.

  2. I used to have a P16 and experimented on recoil spring. My gun runs good with ISMI 12.5 and better with 13lbs. No feeding problem. 11 lb and lower gives feeding problem once in a while and i dont want that to happen while i am shooting a stage. So I settled for 13 lb

  3. No SB on all my guns. Learned the hard way. Virgin 'buff on the first stage. Doing well. 4th stage of the match. Few rounds fired, jammed and the culprit was the buff. Didnt finish the stage. I was so mad i put the almost a dozen or more SB at the prize table for anybody interested with it.

  4. I also own a Trojan 40

    1. thats a good sight

    2. i use smith & alexander on mine

    3. I use short curved because i have a stubby short finger

    4. i am also using 12.5 lb ismi

    other add ons are

    - extreme eng. innards

    - ambi. safety

    - extended mag release

    - hard chrome finish after break in

i use mc cormick mags. They are super reliable.

finished 8 single stack classic matches at pasa park plus other matches without malfunction.

  5. It is an EFK fire dragon. The rod and the plug are both S/S. The plug is very sturdy and wont break easily than the original piece (with tab). The rod has smaller spring inside. When the gun is fired the special pug compress the recoil spring and then catches the step on the fore end portion of the rod, pushing it and compresses the 2nd smaller spring inside the rod.

  6. Bought my .40 trojan 7 years ago. Nothing is added except magwell and ambi safety. Barrel is still original and ramp not modified. This year will be my 7th single stack match at Barry and no problem feeding. Gun and me always finish the match with no problem. Tried factory 165 gr to homebrewed 1.230 (210gr lead RN) without gagging. But the smoothest feeder is 1.18

Magazines are Mc Cormick which are flawless.

I chose .40 because i shoot Limited class too, so ill have one set-up on my 650
