  1. Follow their advise of trying it first without changing the extractor. I ordered an extractor for 38SC before testing my gun if it's going to function properly with 38SC brass. Well, It did and without altering the gun and mag. I'll just charge it to experience and its also comforting to know i have spare brand new 38SC extractor.

  2. Pardon me pls. A question, not to hijack the original post. So basically If you want to change from .38 super to .38 SC or .38TJ, all you have to do is change the extractor and the brass of course. Am I correct? I have another open, an old .38 super lying around and remaining brass is about 500 or so. I might convert to .38 supercomp.

  3. I was at the same situation years ago. Cant decide so I bought a .40 and .45. Theyre both reliable and a pleasure to shoot. I'm one of the lucky guys to own a Trojan .40 that runs good from the day I bought it. No barrel mods. Loading 200 XTP's at 1.165/n330. The 45 is a colt combat elite/kart barrel loading Hornady 200swc/n310
