  1. Considering there are glock pistol certificates that can be had for $400 with a $107 (Gen 3) or $142 (Gen 4) upgrade fee for a G34, I would pass on that G34 you found.

Just don't forget you'll be waiting up to 6 months for it. I'm about three months in on one right now.

  2. Palmetto State Armory mags are made by metalform and work great. I have a bunch of uzi mags that were cut to fit for colt mags. I did these before affordable mags were plentiful and Uzi mags use to be less than $10 for an IMI 32 rd mag.

  3. I tried the weighted flashlight for a few matches over a few months. It does feel like less recoil. It has a duller feel. However, I ran it on a timer back on forth shooting el pres and other basic drills. Times were basically identical. I felt slightly slower on transitions.

This was with a Glock 24 with a lightened slide for reference.

  4. good to hear. my experience with them suggests that they didnt have any customer service. in my case i made multiple attempts to contac them, and could not get an email returned, a phone call answered, or a call returned after leaving a message.

Same for me. I gave up on trying. I won't beg to give you business.

  5. I hope Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, Area 6 don't do as Louisiana did. It could be bad for the sport. Shooters no matter the sport, hunters, long range rifle, shotgun, muzzle loader, IDPA, SASS must support each other. We must show a united front to the anti-gun people.

That's taking it a bit far. I didn't get in the Mississippi Classic. I didn't cry about it.

Everyone bitched last year too. My big fear is the complaining will lead the people (like the wonderful Stephanie) to quit organizing these matches. I know I sure as hell don't have time to do it.

  6. So the way it was done did not give the section member a chance to get a spot in the match? i mean if you really want to shoot the match why not pay attention to when sign up is going to take place? Silly I know...

I guess I'll pass on this match not because of the sign up situation, I figure I'll need a break after the Nationals. Got my email that they have me a slot. Good luck to all the shooter that make it in this section. Just my .02 cents. Cheers

Because it fills up in 20 minutes. It's nice for those of us that support the clubs that put on the match to actually be able to get into the match. Last year, a lot us were wait listed or left out all together.

  7. I don't quite understand the problem magpul is trying to solve. Glock mags are cheap, reliable and easy to obtain. I realize they added couple cool features but for another $5-10 I'll buy the OEM mags. Cheap HK mags would be interesting.

Do you know of a place where I can buy Glock mags for $20 no tax and no shipping? I'd be all about that.

Check Botach. They do 5 for $100 free shipping and no tax every so often.

  8. Well nobody pulled your string. I'm not getting dragged into this.

You drug the others into that with saying other peoples sucked. As their is only a few guys that push their triggers on here, it does insinuate it is one of them.

  9. Great experience with my stuff. You have to call though...... Don't try email..

I did call at first. They responded. Asked me to email him the slide cuts that I wanted. I sent it several times and didn't hear back even after checking several times. He didn't respond until I told him to forget about the frames I wanted done. Glad yall were happy though. I'll still order their parts no hard feelings. Just will use others for smithing etc.

  10. My 17c I can see the difference in muzzle rise with minor loads. Not amazing but it helps a little. Wouldn't even think of major in it.

  11. I tried to get work done by them. Took several emails and took two weeks to get a response. If they were that way when I'm trying to send money how bad would it be after they received it? He did apologize after I sent a complaint but I've found others by now.

  12. I agree and it is not like everyone has not expressed this to them. But, if you send it back to them with some dummy rounds and complain a little they will fix it for you for free and turn around is about a week. I always tell them to give me the "GT Hole" before shipping and I have never had a issue.

I called earlier this week. They said four weeks on the phone and $30. I brought it to my local smith tonight and he did it for $25 while I waited. I've used other drop in barrels. This will be the last lone wolf.

  13. As long as I request Lone Wolf to throat and ream the chamber for lead before shipping I have never had an issue with any of their barrels. I have around 15 of them mixed in with KKM and Bar-Sto barrels in different guns. The Bar-Sto shows an improvement in accuracy in every gun I have fitted them to. The KKM and LWD barrels will sometimes be an improvement over the stock barrels but never any worse and neither is any more accurate or dependable than the other after reaming. Both brands need to be throated and reamed to optimize them and I have had several Bar-Sto's that needed this to reliably shoot coated lead and to alleviate the tight chamber. Other than having a super tight chamber, which they will fix for free, I don't understand why LWD is so frowned upon.

I just bought a lone wolf barrel. I honestly don't understand why they make the chamber so freaking tight. Almost none of my previously case gauged reloads work in it. I'm guessing that pain in the butt is the reason people frown on them. And having to pay extra to have their awful logo not laser engraved.
