This looks like a good thread to ask a question (I appologize if this is construed as hijacking).
What makes the ICE not fit on a 19? Is it something that can be fitted with some TLC?

I own one. Use it all the time. To be honest though, it seems like it better suited for normal range use. I find it to be just a tad too big for an IDPA match where I'm carrying two guns tops. And I don't think it's quite big enough for my 3 gun needs.
One major drawback is the lack of dedicated ammo storage. I tried shoving a match worth's of 3 gun ammo into the front pocket, but the weight just shifted around, making the pack uncomfortable. SO I have gone back to the old .50 cal ammo can. Makes the pack more manageable.

Another vote for the Magpul MIAD here. Took me a couple tries to find the right backstrap. But now, I love it.

Thanks to whoever revived this post. After reading, I have quite a bit to think about.
I vote to make this a sticky.

CJW thanks for the info, I am gonna run the same setup you have, and probably going to put a xs big dot as well.
Good idea about the extended chokes too
If you're ever looking to trade it, let me know...

It is getting really hard to wait for this thing to be released. I'm doing my best to stick with my 870...

I get bit fairly often with my 19. The left side of the rail is the only one that seems to get me. Especially shooting SHO, where I keep my thumb higher than normal.

Deanna got back to me and said while there are plans to get USPSA matches going at OK Shooting Sports, but it's not happening yet.
So for the near future it's still going to be IDPA and 3-Gun.
Speaking of which, if you haven't shot 3-Gun under Soldier of Fortune rules, you should come out. It is a blast. Richard Hadad runs a great match that really get you out of your comfort zone.

I shoot at least 3 matches out there a month (IDPA and 3-Gun). I have not heard anything definitive about USPSA quite yet. I know they have plans, but I do not believe anything is set in stone.
I just sent an email to Deanna out at the range to confirm/deny anything that has been heard. She's pretty good about quick response, but I believe she may be out of the office on vacation. If anything, I will take a ride out there tomorrow (I live about 15 minutes away) and find out for you. Either way, I'll post something as soon as I find out.

Hello all, TJ here. I'm just getting into games with guns. I started shooting IDPA in September. Shot one match, then a classifier (made MM). I fell in love with the game. I bought Steve Anderson's Refinement and Repetition and fell into the awesome dry fire routine outline in the book. I shot a classifier a week ago and shaved 50 seconds off my time (made SS). I'm also into 3 Gun, and honestly, that's where I see myself wanting to compete. If only I had a small fortune to spend on it. I usually get to shoot our local 3 gun match, but I'm starting to branch out to other ranges. Eventually, I would love to be able to travel and shoot. But seeing as I'm a single, 23 year old brand new home-owner, I think I'm going to have to find me a sugar momma before that happens...hahaha.

Eventually, I think I'll go with an Eberlestock for 3 Gun.
